Bro this has to have been one of the most entertaining e-sport events of all time. I usually am not that hyped for this stuff but at the end of it all, when they lifted that hammer. Not gonna lie, i teared up a bit.

They used to be called in Brazil W7Meme because they used to finish at last position every season for years. From nowhere they start winning and winning and winning like a winner machine until became known as W7Machine!

@@liams_limes8199of course they can. Penta/G2 from the past could never do what they did in these days. Same thing applies to W7M in few years. The players and the teams are much more prepared for each game and championship now. I can say with no second thoughts that W7M is already the biggest team ever happen in R6.
They lost 2023 Invitational final, but 2 majors in the a roe for the first time ever happen in the scene and add it up the Hammer. You know what, this Invitstional was the most difficult one. Anyone on the top 6 could win this. They are really amazing teams, but the come back was terrific. Don’t forget that on the third map FaZe did a comeback from 0x5 to 7x5 too.
Anyway, only one big team was left off which is BDS, but they don’t look to be in a good shape rn.

@@liams_limes8199dude there were some monsters in that era , alemao ,doki, blurr in a super team and joystick and shaiko the super carries lol , if shaiko had the French team he has now back then they would of been unstoppable , shaiko definately fallen off even though he’s aim is 1:1 , i would of loved to see these guys stacked together and with some Kixstars calls and map knowledge

That has to be one of the greatest comeback of all esports history, to be able to be mentally strong to pull off a 6-1 comeback in a grand final in front of so many people and accomplish a 7 win streak to win it all. This is why w7m is one of the greatest r6 teams of all time!

@@nascimento0635Completely different Eras of Seige and different games from then to now. If prime G2 played now they wouldn’t do well, but if W7M played then they wouldn’t either. Different metas, ops, maps, strategies are all different. Penta/G2 were nearly unbeatable for 2 years with countless moments of their own as W7M is now. Both Penta/G2 and W7M are era defying teams in the world of seige. Both with out a doubt are the best teams to ever touch the game in the eras they played. Congrats W7M what an amazing SI and comeback victory to finish the year out. Truly amazing and unforgettable

I was screaming and freaking out as they won those last 6 rounds but once they won the 7th, I didn't even know how to react. I swear I sat in front of the screen speechless, with my jaw on the floor, all the way up until they picked up the hammer. E-sports or otherwise, this is one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed.
I’ve been watching siege esports for nearly 3.5 years (so not that long but long enough) this was by far the craziest match I’ve ever watched. From getting curbed stomped on Oregon to completing the most ridiculous comeback on nighthaven, w7m came full circle in this series. The crowd was also nuts, shoutout to them
You should check out some of the classics. G2 vs the world back in the day was always a crazy final for years with there prime roster.

Watching w7m fight a slug match versus vp i thought nothing could top it. This was the best game of siege ever played. Simply outstanding on both sides
This was hands down the best R6 match ever. It had everything. Twinbrothers at each side, a powerdsiplay by Faze at the beginning and the end but then in the end the comeback of a century by W7M. I could not believe what I just watched.

This has to be the greatest R6 tournament finale ever. The energy from the crowd, 2 Brazilian teams in Brazil, the stakes for w7m to win, the insane comeback from 6-1 on Nighthaven, hell even twin brothers battling it out. This was a wild rollercoaster of emotions!

those last three maps were wild, it felt like you knew exactly who was going to win, and bam, there was a huge comeback, the fifth map just sealed the deal

you know... after kix (huge idol of mine) passed away and i stopped playing siege due to other mental issues at that time, i thought i could never enjoy watching or playing siege again... but today proved me otherwise... i enjoyed every segond of it, even with bad memories coming up at certain points, seeing the crowd and the passion of all the people around it made them disappear really fast ^^
