These really young female singers today need to take note of the great 70's true rocker females. Joan Jett, Heart, Pat Benatar. They still rock today & sound great. Joan Jett 64 years old, Pat Benatar 69 years old, Ann Wilson (Heart) 72 years old. They still can put on a show & they have never used that stupid auto tune. Carrie is a chameleon who seems to blend in to many different genres of music
I love how Carrie didn't take the limelight. She understood that it was Joan's moment to shine and be in the spotlight. Carrie definitely added to the moment but didn't take over. Her focus was on Joan.

I climb the fence on the back of the small stage and leaned my head into the open windows into the lodge where the girls were preparing for the show. There was Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West and Vicki Blue. Joan climbed up from the sofa and walked up to the window, put her hand on my cheek and said: - Sorry boy! (I was 15 at the time) and gently pushed me out and closed the window. A memory for life!

39 years ago, my dad bought me my very first record. I was only 5. He bought me Joan’s “I Love Rock N Roll”. She was my very first idol. She paved the way for a lot of women and women artist. I thought she was the coolest woman ever. I still do. She is 64 years old. Still looks amazing, in great shape, riffs are on point and her vocals are out of this world.
Joan just has a Rock n Roll Voice. Some people have a "beautiful" voice, yet they can't make you feel anything Joan Jett makes you want to drive 100 mph and scream out the window , singing the wrong words to a song but feeling like you are on top of the world
Joan Jett has been one of my favorites since I was 7 years old. This woman has it all. I used to want to be just like her. I told my mom I wanted to take guitar lessons and she said yes. What she didn't know is that I had this plan to have my own rock band and be the front singer in awesome clothes that plays the guitar 🎸. Joan Jett is a timeless gem. This is real music 🎶 kids.
