Guts is the hardest to kill. Literally let himself get stabbed in the face at Mach speed, then fell 500 feet to the ground, and spent the rest of the night fighting demons.

Alucard from Hellsing ultimate is up there with Orochimaru in my opinion. My man took life threatening injury every 5 minutes and just healed it while talking shit, then we find out you gotta kill him over 3 million times for him to die, just for him to become everywhere and nowhere

The fact that Obito who got crushed in half, took a rasengan from Minato, another from Naruto to the face, stabbed through the heart, had the Juubi pulled out of him, did the rinne rebirth and could only have died by the final villain in the show and he still transcend death to give Kakashi the Sharigans. What made Orochimaru an amazing villain with the immortality goal is that all his methods of achieving immortality came with a catch. It wasn't just "congrats you get to live forever," it was "well you have to sacrifice your health. you need to find hosts. you won't be at full power, etc." Made him interesting and unpredictable because he was always trying to mitigate the negative effects of his methods.

Then in the 3rd part as a guy in his 70's, he fought tooth and nail with stand users all the way from Japan to Egypt and still lived and even got killed by Dio just for to pull a dark joke on his Grandson before coming back. Then in Part 4 the dude cuts himself as a 80 year old+ man to help find his adoptive baby daughter and lives. Then he is confirmed to still be kicking it in Part 6 Stone Ocean.

Naraku is one of the hardest anime characters to kill. Took the whole show to kill him as he escaped near close death over 100 times.

I agree with Des, almost all the arguments made to support Orochimaru applies to Naraku.
Fact, Naraku was so similar to orochimaru. Everyone in the show try to kill naraku, while for orochimaru, not everyone wanted him dead. Obvious there more character in Naruto then inuyasha, but still. And naraku legit wanted to die at the end, since he wish for something like that. So he could have keep running and avoid dying if he wanted too

Gojo should definitely be on the list if you really look into him, he by default can't be touched by nearly anything he doesn't want to be touched by, if he some how gets hit he knows reverse cursed energy which allows him to heal, he has 2 abilities that allow him to push and pull you in so rushing him or trying to run isn't exactly gonna work, and his domain expansion literally freezes you in place as it shows you everything in existence infinitely, and just remember the main ability of any domain expansion, the user is guaranteed to hit their target but the target can still defend themselves. How tf do you defend yourself while you're stuck in place, looking at infinity? He could really hit you with a hollow purple and you couldn't do anything about it. Man is so busted the main villains of the show had to resort to sealing him away to beat him.

There's an actual anime character that can't be killed. Fushi from "To Your Eternity" his name actually means "Immortal". He does have a weakness but...
Crazy how they used Doflamingo as a benchmark for the Admirals, when yes Doffy can hang with an Admiral (He would still lose tho of course) based on his interaction with Aokiji he wasn't really afraid of him at all even though he knew couldn't beat him. Though at the same time in that arc and maybe that same episode Doflamingo was shitting in his pants over Kaido. Goes to show that Dylan was right when originally he chose Kaido to come out of One Piece. Plus Kaido introduction said that he literally cant die... Great back and forth tho as always.

How about Genos and King from OPM and King Bradley from FMAB?
Genos almost died like 3-4 times just in the 1st season of the anime, and Bradley was like 80+, fought an army alone, got cut, shot, swam while bleeding out, then fought Scar (who even started using alchemy), and even after losing his arms almost killed his opponent. Dude was hard to kill. And don't even get me started on King, surviving every major threat, while just being a regular human.
All known Admirals would smoke Doflamingo, he wouldn't have a chance and definitely wouldn't last a day. People sleep on Kizaru because we haven't seen enough of him but the guy casually volunteered to zap over to a island with two Yonko and "handle them". Of course with haki anyone can be defeated in OP but its not easy catching someone who can move at the speed of light.
