IT WAS HORRIBLE. i knew i loved this song but i couldn't for the life of me remember the beat or the melody. my braincells simply couldn't do it. took me a solid week of on-loop listening to finally get the hang of it. the composition was so weird it felt like sm had cursed that song to make us forget it so that we'd have to come back and watch the video again&again and give them more views x'D

Punch is one of the most underrated most beautiful works of art from NCT that Iβve ever heard it is so damn delectable it shouldnβt be allowed.
punch is such an amazing song, it showcases what nct 127 does and means so well, the pushing boundaries and innovating that makes them such a special group.

As a music student and an nctzen, I nearly cried hearing all these musicians talk about this song in a way that is so relatable to what I was thinking when I heard it. Especially because haters like to say that NCT makes "noisy" music with a bunch of random noises in it, but that's literally how genres like classical music sound. Classical music is praised and it is not only good to listen to for growing brain cells (aka getting smarter), but it is also considered to be innovative and one of the foundations of music, so what NCT does with their complex music is just as stimulating and exciting, but with a modern twist, if you ask me.
This song is very unique. I would agree that it pushes the boundaries even for Kpops standards. I really didnβt vibe with it the first few times, and now I love it!!! I appreciate the fact that it feels like 4 songs in one and all the subtle things happening within the production. Itβs dope. Thatβs really the best word for it lol

Punch is one of my top 3 nct 127 title tracks and thats saying something. I love it more and more each time I listen to it, and for me had a better longevity than kick it. It's just so interesting and satisfying to listen to

@@nhunguyen0203 every unit of nct has different genres. Hot sauce or nct dream in general has different genres from 127 and that applies the same for wayv. Even nct u has different genre and concept. So I can see what sm is doing. Sm loves to experiment so it's quite predictable. Not everyone will like the same genre ofc but so far dreamies songs are more public friendly imo. Sorry for my English.
