Maybe Marvel thought of that, Edith is fake. After Peter left Mysterio there in the end, he got up and used the edith glasses to record that name reveal. I mean I dont remember peter using Edith after that last fight. Also, he's a smart guy I'm sure he planned it all.

did Mysterio planned all this just so he could get Edith from Spidey? Or him getting the glasses is just a bonus he didn't expect? If so, how did he know Tony would give Edith to Spidey(or this high schooler named Peter)? And why all the charade when he could just steal it from him?
If he stole it he still needs permission from Peter to transfer controls to a new person.
One of the ladies' in Beck's team found out about E.D.I.T.H being transferred to Spidey. Mysterio's main aim was to be seen as hero(just like the comics), but he also had his eye on E.D.I.T.H. notice how he was still making illusions before he got the glasses but once he got them, he went even bigger with large access to drones in London. The movie makes a lot of sense, it's just edited weirdly in places.

there was a pot credit scene. Batman adn SUperman being skrulls make PERFECT sense cuz I was lilke "Because im..... BATMAN" and it simply wasnmt addressed. That should been the first clue i CANNOT BELIEVE i didnt think of that and the writers pulled a fast one on me. that took this from a 9 to an 12. THANK YOU REEL REJECTS
