This is exactly what I need. A logan style film by Sam Raimi with the legend Tobey Maguire. To end a great story for tobey. Especially if it was made R rated.
I don't think Rated R is necessary, that is, the previous films didn't have it and they are masterpieces, it doesn't even have to be as dark as Logan was, but some themes could be taken from films like "Old Man", , with the hero ending up reconnecting with what made him wear the mask in the first place.

Great concept trailer. While I’m someone who wants a Spider-Girl spin-off film with Tobey instead of a direct sequel, a more lighthearted but still dark (does that make sense?) Logan styled Spider-Man 4 could work if the main story was about Peter passing the torch to his daughter and this being his final and toughest adventure before retiring with Mary Jane instead of dying. That way the tension will be high and the story could still take risks, but it will still stay true to the overall optimistic tone the Raimi films had.
Then... May would be the protagonist?

If this were to happen it could serve as a worthy close for Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. And showing his daughter Mayday Parker as his successor. Although I do feel that this would be the saddest and most nostalgic movie.

Here's my idea slightly inspired by Phenomenal Ace's comment:
He said something like having an old spiderman fight a young clone, like Logan did. He mentioned using oscorp and/or vulture as a villain. Here's my take.
Even though it's been done, that's actually be a brilliant way to bring in not Ben Reilly, but their other more monstrous clone counterpart Kaine, as a villainous, freakish Spider-Man in his prime. Perhaps Miles Warren can be one of the villains, he could explore the goblin serum's potential for immortality (I'm taking that from the ultimate universe) and attempts to jumpstart Harry's dead yet living heart, in an effort to secure the long lost Oz formula.. only to bring back a soulless zombified version, which he kills immediately to keep his forbidden experiments secret. But perhaps his DNA can be harvested since he is "alive" again in a sense, and instead he opts to clone Harry and rip the lost Oz formula from the clone's blood. Perhaps in a battle inside the lab, a drop of Spider-Man's blood falls into the sample of Harry's blood, and later on after the battle, Miles Warren prepares the sample to be planted into a human embryo. Both the properties of the Oz formula and the radioactive spider fuse, just as Harry and Peter's DNA fuse, and the result is a monstrous, vengeful animal that is out for blood. Hopefully Spider-Man and Kaine can set aside the differences though, since Warren deems the experiment a failure and determines that the best way to eliminate Spider-Man and his failed specimen, would be to recover and experiment on the corpse of Eddie Brock. And in the final battle, Tobey gives Kaine a suit that highly resembles Ben Reilly's "Sensational" suit. Let there be Carnage!
Either way, Peter should die at the end in Kaine's arms, having successfully prevented the creation of a madman's superhuman army, and destroying all traces of the Oz formula and his own usable DNA. Before he dies he should imply he doesn't want his daughter living this dangerous superhero lifestyle. But Mayday hunts Kaine down and demands answers about her father. She finds out the hard way that he was Spider-Man all these years, and asks Kaine what he will do next. He looks at the suitcase (with Ben Reilly suit) that Tobey gave him previously, and then slams it shut stating "I'm no hero". The final shot of the movie sees Mayday wipe the tears from her eyes as Kaine leaves. And just when she's about to leave too, she turns around and stares at the suitcase for a moment...

Draft script: Vulture is in charge of oscorp. He is cloning peter parker that looks like the 2007 version with symbiote, goblin and vulture dna. Mayday and mj are in grave danger. Mj dies and peter loses his left arm. Then his daughter mayday took the mantle as spidergirl. She doesn't produces any organic webbing on her wrists, instead she makes her own web shooters like tom and andrew but she has spider powers with very different abilities than tobey's peter(her dad). Tobey spiderman dies at the end but the spiderman mantle will live on. Tobey would say the line to mayday "You have a Gift. And with great power. Comes great responsibility. Remember that May. Re... mem... ber... that~". Tobey spiderman dies on mayday's arm. with a flashbacks of his late uncle ben.

tbh I feel like a Mayday Parker movie would work the best, Tobey is great and I'd love to see him do more but he is getting quite old to play Spidey, so my idea is that, Peter tells Mayday the Uncle Ben quote when he realizes she has powers, she takes it to heart and follows in his footsteps

I teased a few possible villains in my edit, one of them was Kraven (goblin's glider from nwh could've been one of Kraven's intricate blades). i know Mr. Ditkovitch from the trilogy was supposedly meant to be revealed as a retied kraven but I'd fancast someone like Luke Evans.
I wanted to keep the identity of the villain mostly ambiguous as was done in a lot of the Logan trailers and marketing, also to sort of encourage the different ideas for villains that other people might have.
@@RickSuperPhilms Ooh that's interesting! By the way, Mr. Ditkovitch as the Raimiverse Kraven wasn't really confirmed since it's another Raimi joke from the fans like the Aunt Carnage joke that happened during the late 2000s.
Also, did you had any initial ideas that you wanted to add in the video like Dylan Baker as The Lizard being the second villain and Peter visiting Aunt May's grave?
@@arachnidknight9162 ahhh I see that makes sense, I’ve just seen so many people talk about it in their KRplus videos when talking about the cancelled Spider-Man 4 so I assumed it was actually a thing lol.
But yeah I actually thought about referring to minor characters within the franchise that were pretty important to the world of Raimi’s Spider-Man (i only managed to sneak in Thomas Haden Church in there cause I really liked the idea of him playing a supporting role and flint Marko helping out Peter). Dylan Baker’s Dr. Connors was someone I wanted to include, as well as the daily bugle crew but couldn’t really find any clips from recent movies that they were in that would really fit.
The shot of the blood samples was kind of alluding to certain characters: lizard, a possible cloning situation going on (Ben Reilly or kaine), the Smythes. I was really close on closing in on the idea that the clone saga would be a thing for my video only cause it stemmed from the Logan plot haha

This is so well done it’s so beautiful and I actually have a good story for this potential Spider-Man 4
Peter months after the events of no way home has been taking care of his daughter mayday Parker with MJ and at the beginning of the movie peter is in a rush to the hospital in a intense swinging sequence he takes off his suit behind the hospital and he visits a dying aunt may and may tells Peter that she knew his secret the whole time. Aunt may dies and it cuts to 9 months later peter is taking his daughter to school playing with her taking her to get ice cream just being a regular dad while still being Spider-Man. He takes down a bunch of low tiered bad guys in a montage and he’s fighting someone in the bank but something happens and a bunch of people die including kraven the hunters wife. Kraven is devastated and he travels to New York to kill Spider-Man. Peter wants to retire but he knows that New York is always gonna be a crime filled city so he can’t really settle down. Kraven wants to kill Spider-Man and take away the people he loves the most the movie And Peter has to take down this one final villain and protect the ones he loves the only people he has left in his life.

What i think Spider Man 4 would be about is, we are with Tobey's Spider-man years later, he is aged, struggles with major adult stuff, but when a new spider man comes by, specifically Miles Morales, Peter decides to get back to spider man stuff and helps train Miles to be the best Spider-man he can, or have tom's spider man help Miles, when Tom's spidey is older, maybe 25 or 30,.

While I want Spider-Man 4 to happen and I really, REALLY like this trailer, I don't think Spider-Man 4 being a Logan style film would fit.
The Raimi films were way too lighthearted & goofy to suddenly have a such a dark film. Also... *is he dying there?*
Ahhh I understand what you mean. I mostly used Logan as inspiration for its emotional story telling and concept of a older, experienced, but deteriorating hero who goes for one last ride. My idea is that He’s just been beat up after years and years of operating of spider-man, so his body is just completely out of it.
I love the comic booky feel of the Raimi films and want that to stay prevalent should Raimi gets to continue his trilogy, Raimi also has a special ability to dabble with darker, more horrific subjects in a way that doesn’t seem like it’s taking itself too seriously and still fit in perfectly with the tone your thinking of.
