The fact that nowadays most idols don’t even attend award shows like MMA and MAMA because there’s no awards for them but BTS go and perform even when there’s no cameras broadcasting them or awards for them like they care more about the fans than awards or getting paid that just shows why they deserve their title today and how other idols care more about awards than their fans (or that’s just their company but no one knows so)

Why should they stress themselves out over a performance at an award show, when they can spend time relaxing as they deserve. EXO don't need to do a hundred performances for stans to keep coming back, we still love them just as much. But also negativity towards other groups is so pointless, they do as much as they are allowed/ want to do
I think it's almost impossible for an idol to decide whether or not they want to perform unless they are soloists, anyway I don't think bts care much about getting paid because they're already rich :u
Namjoon got injured at the last minute, so the organisers asked BTS to leave. But the Army's present there were adamant and forced the organisers to let BTS perform saying the wouldn't leave the stadium othervise. So, after the show was over, BTS were made perform only to the Army's there.

I didn’t know BTS until my friend reccomend them to me, I clicked on their MV without looking at the views and loved it, that’s how I know I stan a group not for its fame, but talent
I saw some one said that other artists didn’t even attend the award shows these few years because they know they wouldn’t get the awards. That shows they didn’t even want to perform for their fans meanwhile BTS from their rookie days till now got award or not they never miss to perform for ARMY. That is why they are different. And look at them now the place they stand. No other group can surpass them. Who would have thought that this boy group would go global. Back then in their rookie days, they didn’t get good treatment from their own country tv program. And now everyone want them in their show. But still BTS never forgot where they came from and they attended every award shows.

I’d become their fan one year prior to this event. During this time, they’d already become quite popular domestically and internationally and Army fandom has established in moderate size, but they were still treated like this. Imagine how they were treated back in the rookie days. That’s why Army are super protective of the boys. The prejudice, the hate never stop, but army and bts are so huge now so we fear nothing.

When the show was finished, the lights were also turned off, Bangtan appeared and went up on stage to sing 3 songs. Save Me, Dope, and Fire for ARMY, so as not to disappoint the fans who have come to the event . Even though at that time there were many confetti scattered on the floor, but Bangtan continued to perform wholeheartedly. The OP said he cried seeing that and felt even sadder when he saw Bangtan working very hard, even though the event was over. Bangtan was cut from the event line-up without official explanation and they perform when the show is over just for the sake of the Army. That's why this Bangtan performance can only be seen in Fancam.
I was actually at this show and we were actually asked to leave but we were all confused since bts was supposed to perform but the staff didn't gave us any explanation. As far as I know, no armys left after the end of the broadcast we were all standing together confused but then after 10 minutes, things were getting wrapped up ㅠㅠㅠ and then bts came on stage ㅠㅠㅠㅠ while they were performing lights were getting turned off and some equipments were being wrapped up. Things in the video seems brighter but it was super dark ㅠㅠㅠㅠ as if cutting them off broadcast wasn't enough.. we can feel their sadness during this time so we cheered louder this day ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

somehow i really like that they dont wear stage outfits, i know its because they werent suppost to perform but it just gives a total different vibe than normal performances when they got all the confetti, stage outifts and makeup. Actually I think BTS were famous back then, they weren’t rookies and had a pretty big fandom. It’s just because they were from BigHit, they treated them badly and gave no care to them. Darya Beigi it wasn’t an award show but rather a joined concert? That was created by sbs. BTS was part of the performing line up but when it was almost their turn, the organizers took them off the performing list and instead PSY performed. Namjoon was hurt i think and that’s why he isn’t here and from what I could gather from others this was the catalyst for the organizers to kick them off from performing. But the thing is that they weren’t given notice so when the fans found out they got mad. And so the organizers, to kind of relieve the tension, allowed bts to perform after the official event. They didn’t have proper lighting, their mics weren’t set up properly and there was confetti everywhere. As you can hear the fans are doing the fanchants loudly as support. Also the event was broadcasted live on vlive but when they performed the vlive was already over so the people that were looking forward to their performance at their homes were pretty confused why bts didn’t perform. So that’s why armys are pretty mad bc sbs are putting out “archived” videos of bts and trying to get views on yt 🤷🏻♀️

Here they were invited to perform at the 2016 Busan One Asia festival at the last slot but Namjoon got injured and the organizers of the show canceled BTS's performance WITHOUT telling them or BigHit. But when the show was over and bangtan didn't show up on stage ARMYS refused to leave and BTS had to literally beg the staffs of the show to let them perform not caring about the coverage or that the show has ended because "Our fans are waiting. they will be disappointed ". So the organizers had to send BTS to perform and even thought they performed. It was not aired on TV, only other artists performance was aired. They also didn't clean the stage for BTS (not cleaning the stage before the performance can be very risky and lead to injury if there is water or slippery stuff or even confetti) and no proper lighting was provided for them (as you can see ) BTS SOLEMNLY PERFORMED FOR ARMY even without lights or whatsoever to used for their perofrmance. It was mere darkness when they were performing. No broadcastings, no camera rolls. no getting paid and no getting respect for them as an idol. But they still gave all their best for Army's who came and wait for them to perform. Also I just wanna thank all the Army's who came and wait for our boys on that day and giving all their best to scream on top of their lungs to support our boys.

That shows they didn’t even want to perform for their fans meanwhile BTS from their rookie days till now got award or not they never miss to perform for ARMY. That is why they are different. And look at them now the place they stand. No other group can surpass them. Who would have thought that this boy group would go global. Back then in their rookie days, they didn’t get good treatment from their own country tv program. And now everyone want them in their show. But still BTS never forgot where they came from and they attended every award shows.
Tho I agree some of what you said but.... but it's not ONLY about the awards why other artists chose not to attend some award shows. There are other deeper reasons.

During this time, they’d already become quite popular domestically and internationally and Army fandom has established in moderate size, but they were still treated like this. Imagine how they were treated back in the rookie days. That’s why Army are super protective of the boys. The prejudice, the hate never stop, but army and bts are so huge now so we fear nothing.

When the show was finished, the lights were also turned off, Bangtan appeared and went up on stage to sing 3 songs. Save Me, Dope, and Fire for ARMY, so as not to disappoint the fans who have come to the event . Even though at that time there were many confetti scattered on the floor, but Bangtan continued to perform wholeheartedly. The OP said he cried seeing that and felt even sadder when he saw Bangtan working very hard, even though the event was over. Bangtan was cut from the event line-up without official explanation and they perform when the show is over just for the sake of the Army. That's why this Bangtan performance can only be seen in Fancam.

I was actually at this show and we were actually asked to leave but we were all confused since bts was supposed to perform but the staff didn't gave us any explanation. As far as I know, no armys left after the end of the broadcast we were all standing together confused but then after 10 minutes, things were getting wrapped up ㅠㅠㅠ and then bts came on stage ㅠㅠㅠㅠ while they were performing lights were getting turned off and some equipments were being wrapped up. Things in the video seems brighter but it was super dark ㅠㅠㅠㅠ as if cutting them off broadcast wasn't enough.. we can feel their sadness during this time so we cheered louder this day ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

somehow i really like that they dont wear stage outfits, i know its because they werent suppost to perform but it just gives a total different vibe than normal performances when they got all the confetti, stage outifts and makeup. Darya Beigi it wasn’t an award show but rather a joined concert? That was created by sbs. BTS was part of the performing line up but when it was almost their turn, the organizers took them off the performing list and instead PSY performed. Namjoon was hurt i think and that’s why he isn’t here and from what I could gather from others this was the catalyst for the organizers to kick them off from performing. But the thing is that they weren’t given notice so when the fans found out they got mad. And so the organizers, to kind of relieve the tension, allowed bts to perform after the official event. They didn’t have proper lighting, their mics weren’t set up properly and there was confetti everywhere. As you can hear the fans are doing the fanchants loudly as support. Also the event was broadcasted live on vlive but when they performed the vlive was already over so the people that were looking forward to their performance at their homes were pretty confused why bts didn’t perform.
