Great video RG. I have yet to have an exotic drop in the DZ. And I don't see any raid parties anytime soon, so EB is still my unicorn. Lol. Keep up these vids. Always great to watch.
ur right they did give us another opportunity to get the eagle bearer through the dark zone, the problem is if ur SHD level isnt high enough, ur pretty much toast, but like u said thats the game
โ@AlphaClubz that's literally the whole point of rogue status and the Dark Zone. More props to RG being solo doing it vs d-bag 4 man kill squads mopping up solo players.
I remember hearing that exotics drops randomly after ever 1,000 kills.
I did a DZ run the other day to collect the electronic devices, and only came across one player. I didnโt engage in any combat, was just running to the collectibles.
I can see the devs adding the EB into general loot. Like they did with the house back in div.1. Loved the gameplay!
I guess they'll never do it, unless it's an extremely rare drop, even rarer than in the DZ that if I recall correctly, it's a 0,024% chance ont top of an AR drop, on top of an Exotic drop and on top of it actually being the Eagle.

@xtuffman we'll see. We said we'd never see it drop outside of the raid and yet here we are. The house was rare and then they added it to open world.

WOW WTF this is a great example on how the community is always messing up the game always crying about how things are too difficult.... Put some time into getting better.. put more effort into the raid and get EB there. The community is killing off shit..... In sync, raid exclusive, expertise , and now st Elmo's, etc. Stop crying about shit
What I have noticed lately is when it is regular loot in the DZ locations the game servers will usually put solo DZ players with other solo players and two player groups with other duos for a more balanced experience, however when there is good targeted loot in a DZ zone, solo players are somehow bypassing or finding a work around to get multiple teamed up solo players on the solo players game server to overpower other single players and maximize their own chances. When this happens I suggest other players do exactly the same, which takes some time but really isn't that hard to do.
If I'm remembering correctly, the way Red Storm explained it before they departed the project was that the game tries to match you to a server full of the same group sizes, but foregoes it if there aren't any good options.
Well the problem is that you cant trust people in the dz, unless youre in a clan with each other and both of you know each other. I already have distrust for any one that invites me while in dz, but you have your perspective changed when the other group members know you have an exotic and how easy it is for them to quickly leave and stab you in the back with in seconds.
The most egregious is a clan of 2 4 man squads. Came across that a few times. Knew we were dead in our 3 man squad but we'd focus fire who ever was extracting and deconstruct their loot drops before the other 7 could kill us.
We literally destroyed 5 Pestilences from this 8 man squad in 3 hours!

Every dog has his day in the DZ.
Think exotics used to drop mostly if not only from bosses...but then they made them to drop from any NPC cause people would just run into landmarks, off the boss to get the "good loot" and extract leaving only non-named NPCs running around.
I got one last night from a add, 3 with three other dudes in DZ East with Holsters as the targeted loot. We all were so shocked we ran in 3 different directions. We never teamed up and it took 30 minutes to extract. I'm still shocked

I too did not go to the darkzone after the scouting missions.
Im just not a pvp type of guy and I know that I would be very very very sad if I got what I wanted and someone stole it from me right after.
To the point I wouldnt play the game for weeks and rant about the darkzone.
Therefore I dont do it.
But yeah, I can totally relate with the people saying that they have nobody to play the raids with and they dont want to play darkzone.

I've taken eagles already and I did get them from low lvls..... The way I work is if I find anyone under 1k imma check your bag.... I'm one of those "get your watch up b4 coming in here" type of guys. And to be honest I don't see how people can say "I don't have anyone to do the raid with" when Xbox has a great looking for group section in which there's always a couple raid groups doing it. I think this is the reason.... Most likely they're under 1k, most likely no raid ready build, or maybe can't follow directions.....

I was in an empty DZ last night 7/29/23 from 8pm to about 3am, (TL-Mask). Went up 25 SHD levels clearing LM, 3 Pestilence and about 270 DZ resources.
Lots of yhal gears thou.

So it took you 7hrs to go 25 shd levels? I went 45 in 3hrs ez xp doing side activities around a Pacific control point.
@makavelipg9799 wasn't going for SHD level, was trying to get Raid exotics and yhal gear to deconstruct.
But all that dropped was 3 Pestilence.

You got better rng luck with rogues than I do. Always run into them and it's usually a dude running a level 20 FAMAS and a charged Elmo. Last week it was the pokemon ball kids.

Yesterday and in the previous day, the DZ had AR loot pool... farmed for hours, dropped a lot of Elmos and Pestilences, but no Eagle... I really want one, since I'm mostly a lone wolf and have never done any raid.
There was this time I was extremely lucky and had a Ravenous drop, extracted it and it's sitting in my vault since then because I didn't like it so much and it wasn't even the day of rifle loot pool in the DZ, so I'm kinda skeptical regarding the real drops.

Go do dark hours raid its not hard just need a good group and you will fly through it.
Is the Bighorn a DZ exclusive drop? Not sure if my game bugged out or what but I got one from the final boss of DUA on legendary
It actually was originally a Legendary exclusive drop, they only recently added the small DZ drop chance as a secondary option ๐

I gave up trying to get the EB from the DZ I've farmed it for hours every time AR was targeted loot and from the start of EB being introduced to the DZ the only thing dropping are ninja pads or chameleon
It's like a 0.024% drop chance, so incredibly low lol. But sending you good RNG wishes!

Playing Conflict first, helped me not mind the DZ. Sometimes you get the W, sometimes you take an L. No big deal. Now i enjoy both as a break from PvE

It's primary drop source is the Dark Hours raid, and more recently the DZ got added as a secondary but very minor drop chance. Those are the only places you can get it
I get the feeling of people shit talking something you're excited for. I played the closed NDA test and I'm not sure what I can or can't say but I want to play it more. And I'm having trouble playing div 2 to fill that hole lol

About a week ago i had a nightmare that i got the EB in the DZ and when i went to extract it someone stole it from me and i begged and begged for it back and i never got it ๐ญ๐ i woke up , 3 hours later i joined a random LFG for dark hours raid and I GOT THE FUCKING EAGLE BEARER !! Talk about a crazy coincidence!! 2 days later i got the ouroboros !! Im pleased to say that i am content with my life now lol
As you know through are chats I been trying to get the EB. I took your advice and joined a good clan with a good discord group. My first time doing the raid with them I got an EB donated to me at the end of the raid. Then I did incursion and open the chest no gun so Shannon had three Keys and on the one the ourboros drop and she gave it to me. Great crew so pleased I found them. Ps what is the build your using now I have the EB I am looking for builds ๐

Have you done the dark hours raid? It drops there sometimes. I run with a group sometimes that help people get it

Did I see you go rouge without hacking anything? How do you do that?
Hacking is a secondary rogue-going method, there's a button to self-flag yourself that serves as the primary method. You hold down the "select" button on controller, not sure what it is on PC.

@@RogueGold I think for PC it's T which can be confusing especially for me as the rogue option was Shift+Z in the 1st Game and T was the Signature Skill Button

What are the best guns to use for PvP in D2??
There are many that can suit different playstyles! I personally like AR's, and the best ones for PVP tend to be the Carbine-7, FAMAS, Police M4 and Honey Badger.

Can you get an EB or a BH as a DZ drop of you never got it from a Raid? I read in a comment on a different video that of you never got it from a Raid, you don't have the blueprint for it, it won't drop in the DZ... I'd like to confirm this before I invest a bunch of time this weekend...
Yes you can, I got both ravenous and eagle bearer in dz and I have never played a raid.
@nickydexgg4579 The drop chances for the EB, Ravenous, and Bighorn are exactly the same for every player in the DZ, and they will drop regardless of if you already own one or not! Happy farming ๐

Random is not all that random.
If you take 3 groups and tell them to flip a penny 100 times and take 3 groups of people tell them to think of flipping a penny 100s you would be able to tell the difference.

I only play Division for the PVP
How can you proc tenacity without an actual headshot KILL? If you only down a player without killing him, tenacity doesn't proc. At least not for me.
It's also described in the talent. If you KILL an enemy with a headshot tenacity will proc and not just with a down. I tested it many times and it doesn't proc for me with a down. If someone is still crawling around on the floor, it means he's not dead so you won't get tenacity.
If I only down a player I won't get tenacity and when someone else gets the kill I don't get tenacity either.
For me, it's always proc'd off of a player down. Which IMO is how all talents should function in PVP, as knocking a player is the equivalent of killing an NPC, given they have no down state.
@@RogueGold Well, I don't know how you and some other players do it because for me and my friends it doesn't work that way. And I can tell you that we've tried it many many times in the DZ. Are we missing a special ingredient?
I've seen players comin out of the checkpoint going rogue, shooting a few times at other players without killing them or even down them and tenacity already proc'd. How do you explain that?

I cannot get the bighorn to drop but I don't care most of the time legendary isn't worth the effort. That ttk with the EB is soooooo bad in PvE. I get it's good chilling in solo DZ but that video shows how much it sucks. Yes I do have one but it's mostly just junk unless you can do a 1v4 with it but meh

@5:50 is the exact reason PvPvE games are absolute cancer. Sorry RogueGold, but flagging and shooting a guy who came and helped you defend your loot extract (if you needed the help or not) , is a really shitty move.
Like, flagging and pouncing on randoms is the name of the game (though I personally feel you should NOT be able to flag randomly on the run like that). Jumping on someone who just helped you is just ... bad.

in my many experiences with the dz you can usually stick to yourself, clear landmarks, etc and be fine, it's when you try to extract that the rats come crawling out of the walls, kill you, and take your shit, the dz is awful, they need to eliminate pvp from this game

Wish the had a solo campaign mode pve .for dark zone with out pvp .
No matchmaking for Raids and PvP is toxic AF, loaded with cheaters etc. so no, I won't ever see an EB or Regulas and that pisses me off something fierce.
I don't have Ridgeway either or the Hunter ones and while those are definitely achievable at the same I just can't be bothered.
I don't mind doing the seasonal stuff and going through the rewards track that's fine, but ALL the exotics should be tossed into the general loot pool at this point there really is no good argument not to.
I do agree that the DZ should have the highest chances (I loved the DZ in Div 1, hate it in 2) but nothing should be gated off anymore 5 years into the game.
Side note: they seriously need to put some kind of NSA tech vendor at the Castle because I am sitting on a metric F tonne of it with nothing to buy.
