As a child, I have a distinct memory of my grandparents dancing in the kitchen while singing this song. It was a special moment for me because I rarely saw them let loose and have fun like that. The song was one that they both loved, and it always put them in a good mood. I remember feeling happy and carefree as I watched them dance and sing with each other. Even though I was too young to understand the lyrics, the melody was so catchy that I found myself humming it for days afterward. Sadly, both my grandparents have since passed away, my grandma died from cancer and my grandad played this song for her and sung along during her last hours i guess what they say is true people can die from a broken heart shortly after my grandfather passed we buried them togther and played this song for them once more so whenever I hear this song, it takes me back to that moment in the kitchen with them. It's a memory that I will always hold dear to my heart and makes me cry i hope i find someone to love like they loved🙏❣️

Nostalgia is such a beautifully devastating thing. Every time I head this song I can feel myself at summer camp again, with all of my friends, kicking around a ball or going swimming. I can feel the sun on my skin and I can hear everyone’s laughter. I can remember how simple and easy life was.
And in a flash I’m back in the current day, listening to it once again, with the deepest lump in my throat and tears welling up in my eyes.
I hope the feeling this song gives me, although painful, never goes away. It’s a reminder of how special the times gone by were. It gives those times the rightful power in my soul that they deserve.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my father. When I saw him last (he was going away to visit friends in Jamaica] I knew that it was going to be the last time. I have always had a neat knowing of these things to be able to sense the truth about the world about someone’s life. I hugged him and I cried. I said I understand you have to go home. He died a week later after arriving in Jamaica. The night before my sister talked to him, and she asked him what was he doing and he said I’m just sitting underneath an Ackee tree listening to the birds singing and I feel so happy.
Once all of this is over, I want to live. Not just exist, these people sound so happy living and I want to be able to live too. Best of luck to anyone reading this! I hope you have an amazing life!

This song came on and my baby started moving around like crazy I felt so happy and felt like I'll get through this with you, it will always remind me of that moment.
