An Unexpected Turn of Events…

For me, that painting represents how Ryland and Shane work together as a couple. Ryland lays the sturdy foundation...then Shane comes in at the end and adds his creative flair to it. The outcome is beautiful and perfect.

Honestly, Ryland is already giving major dad energy while he’s assembling things and hanging up that frame in a baseball hat and shorts

“Strong foundation” just shows you what an artistic genius Shane really is. And Ryland is the handiest housewife EVER! Love you two!

I studied art, and I just want to say that the process of creating a piece is what really matters, when channeling emotions towards your artwork in the moment and throughout the journey, that gives you a masterpiece. i think the mesmerizing understanding about it, is that the viewer has their own opinion (which gives it more of a personality but from a different pov) that’s the beauty of it all, quite frankly Ryland made something (from nothing) beautiful with the “process of emotions” which led to Shane adding his own creative touch to the same piece. connecting the two gives you a masterpiece that you’ll never forget.

I am a painter, and honestly, Ryland was doing a great job. I’ve always believed that anyone can make art. Most are just too afraid and doubt themselves along the way. And most artists are never fully happy with their art. We pick at every little detail too. But it turned out great!

I love how the painting turned up. It’s like you two as a couple. Individually they’re “cute” but together it’s “beautiful”!!!!!

I am so flipping jealous. I wish I had a boyfriend that would have a spread like that set up for me on Easter. Hell I wish I had a boyfriend at all. Shane definitely checks all the boxes of the perfect partner

The fact that Ryland and Shane don't realize that the name of their painting "strong foundation" is literally the perfect representation of them together - two parts distinctly incomplete without each other

Pssst.... Ryland... when you want to paint a large canvas all one base color try using a paint roller or a large sponge... let dry and do a second coat over that if needed. It saves SO much time and less exhausting! I used to do that in my painting classes in college!

I’m an artist and this made me feel so seen! When you’re purchasing a piece of art you’re not just paying for the materials. You’re paying for the time the artist spent learning, honing, and mastering their skills.

Once the heart was added-it made everything so complete and complementary and beautiful, the life together that you two deserve. Now that’s a strong foundation.

I actually like Ryland's artwork. If I was going to add anything to it, I would lay squares of gold foil leaf in geometric shapes over the texture to give depth.

Ryland being so supportive of Shane's 5 min heart art with jizz across it and Shane hating Ryland's art he worked a week on is giving #majorcouple goals 😂😂can't stop laughing. Definitely portrays married life well lol

As someone who paints everyday - I honestly love the art you made! Texture is a very underrated tactic in simplistic art

Shane’s doing great with the crystals! Charging them in the sun OR moon is perfect, don’t do both! Make sure to check what crystals are sensitive to sunlight, and make sure he is setting his intentions for the crystals as he’s charging them!

I actually cried at the end. I remember seeing Snoop in some of Shane's earliest videos way back in the day. You will be missed little buddy ❤️

Pink Spackle is weirdly fun to work with! It's an "air activated" thing and the pink is usually a good indicator to show you've covered an area completely before letting it dry (to make sure you didn't miss any spots).
Also a speckle effect, dip your brush into some paint and using either a stick or another paint brush, you can tap on the brush to flick some paint onto your canvas. Also works well if you have a toothbrush! Just dip in paint and run your fingers across the bristles! :)
I think you did very well for your first attempt, honestly! Art is subjective and as an artist myself, I have to learn to walk away and come back to it later with "new eyes". Or else I'm never happy with it.
If you want to do more art projects, I think you'd really enjoy doing paint pours and Splatter Art! Yeah it's messy, but really fun (and a wonderful de-stresser lol)

Shane you are 100% correct about charging your crystals when you feel they need it. And absolutely right about charging them in the sunlight and moonlight. It's especially powerful on a super moon night or eclipse. You can also charge them by burying them lightly in the ground, soaking them in salt and water, in candle or incense smoke, or smudging them with sage!

I love you guys. Seriously in all honesty, you both together is just the best and most joyful thing to see. One cool painting tip is try using just a regular feather duster to add “splatter” effects to a canvas or wall. It’s really neat. My old bedroom walls were done that way. 😊

the art you made is super creative and subtly stunning!! art is like makeup, it looks a little iffy during the process (especially when you have created it - you're going to be extra critical), but until all of it's components are brought together and finished, then its stunning, exactly the same with what you've done! love it!!

Now... about doing another art piece... yes please, more. The way you both provided your touch to this one is fantastic!

can we just talk about the fact that the painting actually looks soooo perfect now !!!

In my experience, crystals can lose their full charge in sunlight. Think of how the sun can fade the brilliant colors of anything left out too long and can be too intense and drying if other elements like earth and water aren’t involved. Ive had great experience with charging my crystals in the full moon. For crystals I keep around for calming anxiety, I like to charge them in water infused with chamomile or on a bed of chamomile flowers. One can get very creative. However, we are all on our own path and if something works for you then ***it works***
I recommend looking up what correspondences each individual crystal has and using that as a guide. Love you both and I’m happy you’re taking us along in this new chapter in your life.

I love you guys so much. I had a very serious back surgery almost 3 years ago and I started watching you tube because it took me 18 months to start being human again. I fell in love with all of you and am so glad to be able to watch your lives, thank you for sharing with us. This was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes, beautiful things come out of difficult things, especially when you have your person.
