I don't know if you've done it already, but there's a bike trail in SoCal interconnecting to the PCH which you've ridden a few times. It's the San Gabriel Riverbed Bike Trail and it goes to Seal Beach to the Dam in LA. I think you should do that ride. It's next to the San Gabriel Freeway

hey Brian, I enjoy watching your videos just as much as I enjoy going for bike rides. I dont have many good hills to hit high speeds on so I take advantage of the ones I do have, so far my top speed down hill is 33 mph and flatland is 26 mph. If you see this have you ever gotten the death/speed wobble? if so how did that end?

I always wonder how much / how strongly you break before the hairpin. Last summer I went to the alps, but after one descent my breaks we're just toasted, yours seem to be just fine.

Have you ever considered a dropper for these descents? I know it sounds odd, but I put a wireless dropper on my gravel bike and it’s amazing for those long down hills. I gained quite a lot of time from the aerodynamics. Just not sure it will ever be popular on a road ride.
