I’m sure it’s been said already but the shaving cream hack is actually an army thing. It works to take off camouflage face paint because it’s greasepaint. So it won’t work for typical powders / foundations.

alex z it’s similar to a pad, they’re thinner and used on days you’re just spotting or if you’re using a tampon to catch any leaks or I know younger girls who are just going through puberty and don’t know their cycle yet will wear them to keep from staining underwear

I'd love to try it but I don't wear makeup much so I'm pretty bad, especially with eyeshadow. If I try using black, purple, or blue I always end up looking like I have a black eye.

You should do a video where you do a whole face of makeup using your normal products but you can't use any of them the way you normally would - like you have to use lipstick for blush and eyeshadow for contour and eyeliner on your brows

The way you describe it is too normal actually. In France, it was very common for women to have one perfect red lipstick which they also used for blush. Women of very dark colours have used black eyeshadow for contouring and I personally use brown eyeliner for my brows and nyma tang uses black eyeliner for the perfect brow herself. Basically, Safiya has to come up with an extra special combo now
Lmao I use my pink lipstick as blush and eyeshadows sometimes, contour products as eyebrow fillers and eyeshadow, and mascara for filling in brows or used as eyeliner;most of these I use on short trips where I don’t bring many products. Pretty common for makeup to be used in multiple ways would be interesting to see

Women have been doing this since the 20’s! Audrey Hepburn used to recommend separating lashes with a pin. Just make sure you sanitize the needle with alcohol and maybe a flame.

I watch a lot of Beauty Hacks and that one always got to me too lol. I think some of them are just supposed to be fun experiments. They have a similar one with nail polish either on your eyelids or lips and I'm amazed that people would try that. They do have a couple DIY hacks I want to try though like making your own setting spray and makeup remover pads.

For the pad hack it doesn't look like she uses actual pads. It looks like she uses the small panty liners from carefree. You know the super tiny ones that no one on their period actually uses unless it's with a tampon. FYI the ones I'm talking about are like 97 cents for 20 of them.

I love the clear ones with the funfetti soaps in them and I agree that they look cooler when you hold them up to a light. The little succulent soaps were pretty cute too.

Just apply the liquid food dye with a q-tip or lip brush. Can also tint a small amount of Coconut oil for a glass.
Wouldn't it make more sense to just use a q-tip and the food colouring alone though? Skip the toxic glue altogether? That would mean no need to let it dry, less waste, much better application time and the food colouring can be carried with you in your purse so could work in an emergency. One drop would stain both your lips for several hours.
Elmer's glue is nontoxic. That's why we let kids swim in it at schools.

Esthi here...Baking soda is great for blackheads, if you aren't sensitive to it, it basically softens up the stuff that is clogging your pores and is found in professional products, but the toothpaste is bs. Also, forget pads, you can buy under eye patches that we use for lash extensions WAY cheaper (100/$10) that are designed for ypur eyes and actually good for your skin...

The first hack made me shudder because baking soda will basically destroy the ph balance of your face. Hello acne city.
Claire Bee Surprisingly, baking soda actually helped clear mine up. It made my face really dry but it worked.
And that's why you use toner, to rebalance the ph.

Im pretty sure for the pad one (where it "catche's" fall out) you can just use paper tape(its a little safer then regular tape cause it won't hurt your skin as much)

For the majority of your face use the thicc end of your beauty blender and for the crevices use the fine end. It’s so much quicker
