So a few months ago I saw these headlines about the Y/Project Thigh-High Uggs - and I vowed that when they were released I would acquire them and add them to our questionable fashion arsenal. So I finally got these giant ugg mashups and wore them for a week to figure them out and try and style them! What do you think? Would you wear these? Or do you think they are positively UGG-ly?

I think the "full ugg" outfit actually looked the most normal and best together. The colors matched without being matchy-matchy and it looked cozy in the woods and leaves setting. The dog helped, of course. A cute animal always helps. :)

I remember how weird it was when uggs became "fashionable" back then, because in Australia they were just shoes I'd wear at home in winter, or like wear in the backyard... not out anywhere.

@@yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh Yeah that's a total rip off. We can get cheap ones from places like Target, I think made with synthetic material, to wear at home. All the big brand name Ugg places (like in Sydney) mostly only sell to tourists in Australia. In my home town a lot of people bought uggs from a local company that employed people with disabilities but when uggs became fashionable big American companies tried to trademark the word "ugg" and ruin small businesses like that. Many businesses were actually ruined (the courts eventually ruled that the word couldn't be trademarked like that). So I always find it frustrating when uggs are sold for ridiculous prices now.

The first outfit I thought would rock with these was an oversized white turtleneck sweater with a belt around the waist and simple makeup. Maybe some leggings of a nude or light pink colour to keep the uggs up. You know super snuggly outfit.
