I've done many style challenges for a week, but I've never tackled menswear, so I decided to wear my boyfriend, Tyler's, clothing for a week and see what would happen! I wore a few outfits that he usually wears to try them out, and then I tried to style some outfits from his closet around my ~aesthetic~. What did you think? Which outfit was your favorite?

honestly, as a garment specialist I say that it's as simple as checking the label on the shirt and turn it inside out haha

Read the washing label first, but if I doesn’t offer anything specific, might I recommend:
*Turning it inside out before throwing it in the washing machine*
Cold water, delicate/normal cycle, no bleach, hang dry.

For that Darth Vader shirt, you should be able to turn it inside out, wash on delicate cycle with cold water, and then lay flat to dry it. Fun video! I have to admit Tyler's clothes didn't look half bad on you, Safiya!

To wash the Darth shirt: flip inside out, put in pillow case on gentle cycle and do a very small load of shirts or under garments, NO JEANS OR HARD FABRICS, and lay to dry on a laundry basket or drying rack do not put in dryer!!!

EDIT: Had to fix my spelling errors...didn't realize how bad it was lol whoops.
I would even hand wash, tbh. Put it in the sink for 2 hours with a delicate washing product, then rinse out thoroughly and put it the washing machine only for spinning for maybe 2 minutes so it's not soaking wet anymore. Then airdry on a plastic hanger.
I suggest handwashing too. and after rinsing dry it flat on a towel. that will take a day or two, but it's the safest way. preserve Darth Vader!
I wanted to say the same thing. try hand washing it but if you choose to machine wash it i would advise you to use colour catchers to prevent colour transfer. Also after a wash lay it flat and air dry it so it wouldnt stretch. That sweater is made from a woven fabric those type of fabrics tend to stretch if they are not laid flat to dry. and they will shrink if you put them in a dryer

we have a hanging rack, I'm not sure what it's normally called... but it has wooden rods that you lay it on, I guess not truly hanging lol.
