In olden days in india they burn wood and keep a iron pan on it and burn it for hours and after it turns black they peel the black layer formed on the pan and add coconut oil to it and apply it to their eys as a liner every day and we can store it for years

I saw a recipe on the same foundation and it said to melt the mixture again after you added your clay or cacao powder.
Aaannd it's still not gonna work well... But yeah that was an epic fail😅
I mean, they didn't put any emulsifying wax in it and it's the thing that is supposed to make the watery ingredients mix with the oily ones, so it obviously won't work without it 😂

i cant express how much i love aloe vera. i use it for a facial moisturizer, a body lotion, brow gel, and to curl my lashes before mascara. Its so underrated but a life saver

For the brows, you can use the cocoa and charcoal powder mixture then add some coconut oil and make a brow pomade. Its a natural look, its inexpensive, and helps your brow grow!

@Faith Hoschouer, sorry I’m late, but the person that you replied to was incorrect. The nail polish that Safiya got her nails painted with is worth $130,000 (mainly because of the packaging). The actual manicure was $2,500.
I appreciate the fact that Safiya takes her time to always make the best out of every situation (even if the situation is total garbage 😂). She's always so neat and precise, and does things for research purposes as well as for entertainment. She weighs all options, covers all grounds (VERY thorough) and never really leaves the audience with unanswered questions. Personally, I find her more enjoyable to watch for this reason, compared to other youtubers that just slap things together for a laugh or a paycheck (it's stressful). I never really watched Buzzfeed before, so I can honestly say that I'm now a fan of Safiya, purely because of Safiya. She has a rare sense of humor, intelligence, diligence, and patience, that majority of youtubers (and people in general) lack. Also, I love ALL of her ideas and curiosity in life. okay but that eyeliner recipe sucks. I make a gel that lasts all day, doesn't smudge, and is forgiving.
Melt beeswax in a bain marie, add enough gel black food coloring or activated charcoal powder for it to be opaque. Leave it in the freezer overnight, then break it up with vaseline (petroleum jelly) and more activated charcoal until it's perfect consistency. Apply with an angled eyeliner brush. Keeps virtually forever.
also, eye primer: mix one part coconut oil and one part beeswax in a bain marie. Take about a tablespoon and a half of it into a container, let it cool in the freezer for an hour. Then add a teaspoon of cornstarch and half a teaspoon of your foundation shade or BB Cream, CC cream, even liquid concealer, mix well, and voila.

Safiya & Natalie ~ I loved this!! To be honest, the only thing I'd try though is the Crayola lipstick. I loved the way it seemed buildable and also there was no transference. Question: did it feel dry? Who knew crayons had so many uses! Keep rockin it girl!!
