- So a few months ago I saw this bizarre, polka-dotted motion capture suit that claimed to be able to measure you and then let you order customized clothes through their app - to which I said: challenge ACCEPTED! So I ordered the suit, let it measure my body, and then waited 2 months for my custom clothes to arrive. And this is what happened. What do you think? Would you try this out?

When Saf mentioned the futuristic looking suit, I think it would be so cool if she did a 'Dress like it's 3019 week'. Where you could take inspiration from shows/movies that are set in future time periods and base outfits on that.

at least you get your specific measurements though for future reference; I can’t tell you how many times size charts mean absolutely nothing to me.
I can see how this service would be helpful for disabled people or people who have odd clothing sizes though. Not that unnecessary.

I'm pretty sure they just have a warehouse of plain clothes, and they're just guesstimating your size through your measurements, snipping off the size label, and charging a lot of money

But like genuinely, a world where clothes are all based around your specific measurements and not just a number that’s supposed to encapsulated your ENTIRE body… that sounds so much better.
I recommend learning to sew your own clothes, but I understand not everyone can do that. It's super fun if you can get into it tho!!

Good thing there’s finally a tool to get the perfect fit on a plain white tee. Those things are notoriously hard to fit into.
Only it didn't work, the tops very incredibly ill fitting. There was extra fabric in the middle, it was tight at the bottom, and there wasn't enough room for her boobs even though they're not that big. That was so disappointing, I really want to have real custom clothes

I’m from japan and i have a zozosuit.
The owner said on the news that it helps you choose which size is the best for you and it doesn’t necessarily custom make each item. Zozotown was originally just a normal online store but they then released the zozosuit to help us shop for things closest to our size since it’s hard to tell when shopping online! :) I guess it was a “lost in translation” moment? Hehe
Oh and the selections of clothes here are way different! We have a wide range and it’s super difficult to find fashionable clothing for thicker people in japan and they offer plus size too!

I think an interesting feature of the suit would be to take your measurements and use that information to tell you what your sizes would be with popular brands. That would be a lot more marketable as the "online shopping problem solver".

Honestly, my hypothesis for this is the idea that this company takes the measurements, measuring the spaces between the dots the best, and then with the QR code, the measurements are recorded accordingly, and categorized, so the measurements are mixed and matched accordingly. That may explain why the clothing is close, but not quite: each measurement is categorized, and may lean a bit bigger, so you don’t feel the need to return the items because they’re too tight. That’s just my hypothesis, and that may also explain why the items are so basic. Not only are they starting out, they’re also trying to aim to the highest amount of people as possible, so basic items like skinny jeans, t-shirts, those are run of the mill, Hanes style, it’s very simple. Maybe as more reviews are added on, and their categorization systems are more refined, they’ll add more clothing items, and make it a bit more fitting. No pun intended.
It seems like a scam, and these cloths are so basic and boring anyway, not worth it. But you look amazing with the polka dot suit, that was the best.

I felt offended at their options of clothing. Shirts and stretchy skinny jeans that are usually more forgiving. I would be actually impressed with a dress or suit with no stretch.

Stretchy skinny jeans aren't necessary forgiving. I have to buy small jeans that suffocate my legs or else they will be way too big in the waist but no matter how small my jeans are they still stretch out and slide down throughout the day.

This looks like the online shopping version of getting measured at a boutique. It is for people that don't know their sizes, and it has potential for custom clothes, but will mostly be used to pick from basic sizes off the rack.

I got curious and looked up what zozo is up too in (almost) 2024. It seems that they still sell some kind of clothing, but not custom fit anymore, and they turned the measuring program into an app that lets you track your body measurements and is meant for overall fitness tracking stuff. They also slightly changed the suit (it looks more futuristic yet stylish now imo)

The suit was the only clothing that actually fit her form. I have yet to see any app that can chose a "perfect " fit. It's a waste of money and time, a tailor is your best fit.
Safiya's body looks and resembles mine so much and she's so confident and beautiful it makes me feel really good about my body. I was really insecure about myself, but seeing my body shape on someone else who is just incredibly beautiful really boosts my confidence, you're awesome Safiya! Absolutely love your videos!
