lol!! I was just thinking that. I realize this is a more girly channel in general, but I would like to see them do some other things too that isn't period talk and weird girl trends. Don't get me wrong I LOVE this channel and Saf is hilarious. But Tyler has been cracking me up and I wanna see more of him and her, doing things they would BOTH be interested in, like when they walked Crusty their cat. Or they should have a channel that is both of them. Because they work so great together! @@bluewolf993 i use cloth pads but i don't know what TSS is... help lmao. i wash them (i have 5) with natural liquid soap by hand until they aren't leaking blood anymore and that's it. that is what the pad company wrote on their istructions about how to wash them. (i only need 5 pads bc i am on birth control so my flow is very light and my "period" is 3-4 days long) sorry for any mistakes i am italian :)

I think it’s supposed to be so you can wear a pad with leggings but not worry about panty lines. The gusset lines kind of defeat that purpose though
Well ZACHARY (gonna guess you have a penis and therefore really shouldn't have an opinion) women who have had their periods often have to deal with leakage or spillage. If your period comes a touch early, if it's heavier than you're expecting, or if you're out longer than you thought and don't have enough menstrual products with you, you WILL leak on your clothing. Having clothes designed to absorb it will keep you from discomfort as well as making it far less obvious to others.

Because they can't account for how heavy your flow is going to be since every woman's period is different. If you're someone who has a very heavy flow, the leggings probably won't work for you unless you wear a pad.

And just an FYI, I discovered that every single Disneyland in the world has an identical layout and is just as mind-numbing as the ones in CA & FL. My mistake for thinking that Japan & Paris would be different....

So, from a (history major) seamstress: the gusset is that whole crotch section of fabric. A gusset is an extra piece of fabric added to give extra room and mobility to a garment (and add strength in some cases). Clothes used to have them a lot, but they have kind of gone away with the advent of stretch fabrics and different patterning techniques.
You know how guys' underpants have that section sewn in the middle that covers their...package? That is also a gusset.

I wore a pad to the beach when I was a teenager (my body rejects tampons), and the pad had zero blood on it. The blood dissipated into the water. Of course, the water also inflated my pad and made it sag until it fell out of my swimming bottoms IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, and I worried about attracting sharks whenever I gushed like Niagra Falls. My swimsuit top also burst open as I was playing football the next day. Yeah, that vacation was fun.
I have read that blood cannot escape from the vagina in water due to the pressure (I have experienced leakage in the bathtub though? So take it with a grain of salt). Also, I wore a panty liner on a water ride once, it broke open and absorbing bead things went everywhere. Also not fun in a damp panty liner all day walking around an amusement park :/
hannah brown the volume of the pool might factor in the pressure being great enough to not cause leakage, and tampons have never really done me wrong when going to the pool and water parks

I as a female feel awkward talking about my period but I have no idea why. I do have real bad anxiety and depression though so..
I don't know about your schooling, but I know I felt awkward about my period most of my life because I was taught that way in school and at home. Swear to God, my mother never ONCE talked to me about periods. In school, the only time we talked openly about periods was that one time in the 5th grade where the boys and girls were separated and two female coaches handed out pads and a pamphlet. The pamphlet taught us how to hide that we even had periods from everyone surrounding us, and the coaches made it feel like something you were supposed to hate as opposed to it being perfectly natural. In biology class, the teacher went through it as quickly as possible. For years I did everything I could to make sure I was the only one who knew I had my period. It is nothing to be ashamed of, every woman goes through this. Why we are taught to be ashamed on our periods makes absolutely no sense.

The pad is meant to go inside the gusset and then the main absorbent area of the pad is shown in the middle of the gusset while the edges are hidden under the gusset edges. 💗💗😂😂

I never realized how much I truly hated my period until I stopped having one. I'd get an infection after every period, bleed everywhere, ruin everything, and had pms so bad I would vomit and pass out. I got the nexplanon arm implant and haven't had a period since last November! Weirdly enough though , I can't get enough of the alternative period product videos!
