Whenever I feel kinda lonely or cut off from the rest of the world, her videos are my go-to rescue place. Plus, her methodology for creating awesome content is simply eloquent and thorough, it just makes me appreciate her personality even more...

This was actually so good!? Usually when non-asmrtists try to do asmr it gets real weird en awfully loud at times. But this was perfection 👌

Okay if Safiya actually had a channel dedicated to ASMR I'd literally not miss a single video. I went back and forth to being relaxed and then straight to laughing and then back to relaxed. 😂

I remember two major ASMR things as a little person. My mother’s voice, talking while I laid on her chest, and her rubbing my hair around my ear when I didn’t feel well.

My dad once told me that he fell asleep to Bob Ross cause he's so relaxing, and my first thought was "my dad just admitted to listening to asmr"

If my barber was saying "OH YEAAAAH!" every time they cut, I'd be super concerned.

I remember when this was first uploaded, I exited before the asmr portion started as I had an aversion to it, especially whispering, at the time. Look at me now watching through that part I left off as the these past years has made me rely on ASMR for relaxation

Listening to ASMR is one of those things that everyone does but no one wants to admit they do it

I cant be the only one who started watching ASMR and now when they hold something they do the tap thing.

The commentary during the ASMR part was PRICELESS!! I was roaring with laughter!! I get icked out by whispering (probably because its a wet sound), but I love sounds (dry) of inanimate objects, so the comedic commentary was perfect to keep me from being repulsed by the whispers. That was one of my favorite ever!!

I love that asmr has brought some attention to mirror-touch synesthesia and synesthesia in general. All of these massage asmr videos are so helpful for stress as someone who has mirror-touch synesthesia- I can literally feel what others feel when I see them. So I feel as though someone is giving me a massage when I see someone else getting one. WhispersRed does some stuff with that and it is so lovely and comforting

This video literally started my journey into asmr. I had heard about it, but thought it was weird so didn't look into it. I saw your video and decided to search for more and now I'm obsessed. I just came back to rewatch after your mention if it in a recent live with Tyler. So fun to rewatch

In church we were supposed to sit still and be quiet, right?! When we were at a family church event, my favorite thing was having a cousin to sit by and we would trace our finger up each other’s arm with eyes closed and try to guess when they’d reach the crease of our elbow. So tingly.
I also like someone tracing their finger on my face. I definitely fell in love with visual triggers because they take me back to that and give me that same sensation. It really surprised me that it would actually make me feel something when not actually being touched!

16:42 I've rewatched this video so many times I can recite the ASMR portion in my sleep

I remember feeling this tingles whenever I played "hypnosis" with my friends or cousins, because it involved a lot of hand movements and whispering, or whenever my mom used to do "juju things" to cure a belly or head ache. I remember feeling weird because no one else felt them. I still get huge tingles whenever someone tells me a secret (like actually whispering in my ear), and I literally have to move away because of the strong feeling runing from my neck, to the back of my head ans all the way through my spine.
I found out about ASMR about a year ago and it is kind of helping my insomnia, and I have saved some specific videos that help me a lot when I'm going through an anxiety/panic attack.

The ASMR portion is actually pretty legit, and both parts were cool. Instead of treating the whole thing like a joke like most KRplusrs, you did a good job making it funny and very Safiya, but with plenty of tingles and respect.
