Didn’t expect your age answer, but no judgement at all here. I appreciate your well-spoken manner and sophistication. ♥️ I’ve experienced some age bias myself, as someone who looks about 15 years younger. I’m a nurse and I’ve worked with both adults and teens for the past 3 years. Parents and adult patients talk to me a certain way until they realize that I’m close to their age…and that’s when I see/hear their level of respect increase. And younger patients open up to me because they think we’re only 5-10 years apart; and then I feel them pull back a little when they find out that I’m almost 40. It’s a struggle 🙂; but one that I’m blessed to have I guess.

Tbh I don’t know why people think automatically that when you’re this age, they automatically assume you do this and that. I also was in the position where people thought of me as someone who partied every night but it just never was my sort of thing.
