Lost my job, been at home alone for 3 months, got no one to come home to bc i always been alone since both my parents died years ago, had to move out from my last rent house to find a cheaper one so i could live on.

I've been hurt too many time before so I make such excuses when I feel I'm getting attached to someone and I see me becoming vulnerable around them. We are all just broken beings due to our past experiences. Ask him directly what's up. Let him know how you feel but you want to know what's going on because you can't really wait much. Good luck! :)

I think every person at some point in life feels this song. I lost my BIL at the age of 36 due to alcoholism. He was a war time veteran. Hubby and I tried and tried to fix him for 5 years but then he got in the bottom of the bottle and couldn't get out. He started binge drinking, it killed him. My father was a alki also. When I was about 7 she left him and left me with him. I remember her leaving out the door, the vintage green suitcase and beehive hair. She turned to him and said now see how alcohol is tearing this family apart. She came back 5 days later. The reason she left me is because he had no clue how to raise a kid. His profession was long hours but killer bank. I remember him going through w/D's, he went cold turkey. He too almost died. Alcohol in moderation is ok but when there's a trigger behind it is when the addict, enabler and everyone around them HAVE to change. Hubby's family is tore up, no one speaks anymore.

My parents trafficked me when I was young. I loved them anyway and I forgive them. I married the love of my life 10 years ago and realized he began to poison me. I was dying and I noticed my kids were taking beatings from him. I mustered enough strength to leave. I left and took out three kids. I thought we’d be free, but then two of my kids said their dad raped them when I wasn’t home. I am fighting for justice with the most broken of hearts. It’s a miracle that I’m alive and that my kids are. My parents have taken my ex husbands side and are fighting against me in court saying I’m insane. 💔 you may think I’m crazy, but I still love all of them. I will never return to them, but I love them anyway, even though they have close to ruined our lives. I’m a single mom of 3. 4 of us with PTSD living in the home. Counseling has helped us. As a dad of one kid I can’t imagine doing this to my child, that sounds so heartbreaking. I just want you to stay strong no matter how hard it is going to be. You’ll go through it, I know it sounds so lightly, but I promise, you and your beautiful kids will go through it. It’s a huge psychological damage for your kids, visiting a family psychologist can probably help you somehow. You just need someone to talk to. And after you mentally recover, you can live again, you can find the love of your life again, the person that will always be there for you and your kids, you’ll find him. I was posted in the ER. She came with a crumpled leg. Crush injury. Hypovolemic shock. It was 1am. I resuscitated her, stitched some of her wounds. She required immediate referral to a higher centre but her guardians/sons could not afford the cost and also were reluctant to take her. My friend and I were with her the entire night, ran with her, took her to CT scan and usg. There were no other internal injuries and we worked tirelessly until it was 6.30am in the morning. I was so exhausted and could feel the tell-tale signs of an upcoming migraine attack. I took rest for some time and again went to check on her an hour later. Soon my shift had ended.
After one day, I came to know that she had been tested positive for COVID-19. Turns out that she was an abandoned homeless person and she was mentally unstable. But I swear, while I was treating her, not a single thought that she might be positive came to my mind. Only her life mattered.
It was my 3rd time high rish exposure in 2 weeks. I gave my swab a few hours back today and will give my 2nd after 5 days.
Doing extra bit for my patients is it really worth it?
