This is a daily vlog of a Russian in Russia.
Life From Russia Inside Russia
Don't look for an apartment in the center of Pattaya, go somewhere outside, rent a normal apartment, not one of these crazy things with gold and silver and stuff.
East Euro people like glitz and kitsch. . .
i do agree... way cheaper too
this is a joke then " or stupid russian kid needs a cozy" ^^
That sounds sensible, except there is a lot of stuff right there in Pattaya for a KRplusr to film, within walking distance. If they move to some quiet, boring place, transport becomes more expensive.
Found Pattaya a bit sleazy and a super tourist trap not a city I would visit again, Chaing Mai and Phuket are much better options, also as clearly there are many Russians there you have a lot of competition for property. Phuket is also great for access to the islands.
what does this guy do for a living? Where does his money come from?
Hey man love your videos. I moved from Russia Smolensk. I was an orphan after fall of USSR both of parents died. Both died same day and they told me different stories how they passed away. Oh and I had a brother the Russian government told me he was shot. From that day on I never trusted Russian government. I now live in America happy. All I wanna say is you will find your perfect place to live just keep looking and work hard.
🥰👍
I'm glad you made it to America. I'm sorry for what happened to your family. I was born and raised in America. I had a low paying job in health care. We did struggle when there were extra bills to pay. But we kept food on the table & descent roof over our head. Now I am in retirement and get help paying rent. We have health issues but were able to keep up. Sorry it got long. We wish you the best.
holy crap, glad you got out of there
@@justincase3828 Sad reality of America. I here now and it is undeniable there are opportunities here but overall its degeneration is very visible. Most people are absolute slaves to the system and screw up and you are homeless. But hey you can always screen "America no 1" to bad the economy is nowhere near what it used to be.
Are you russian American?
Hundreds of thousands of Russians invaded Thailand, that's why it's expensive and harder to find an apartment in tourist locations now! I have a friend who just came back from Thailand, she heard Russian speaking everywhere!
Well everyone wants to leave russia ;)
Wealthy Ukrainians fled flooded US&Canada since 2014.
I am sorry I like Ivan but Russians running away from Russia kinda bother me.
@@nathankox1463 why should that bother you? Would you want to work for $4 an hour? How about have your men sent to be cannon fodder in a war
That shouldn’t be? You would want to send your sons to fight for someone else’s adjenda? Russia was never under attack
@@Skippymizzle no I would hate to work for $4 an hour but be realistic, there was 20 years that the Russian society could have rebuked this descendant into whatever Russia is today but the middle class educated people went along with it… now it’s outta control & they bail.. how about some responsibility
Go to one of the larger provincial cities in Thailand away from the tourists. You will pay much less than places like Phuket or the other tourist hotspots. I left Thailand 2 years ago after living there for 19 years. Lived in Southern Thailand and rented a large 3 bed, 3 bath, large kitchen, living room. dining room, large garden in a modern secure compound with security for B
8000 (about $250) a month. Everything will be much cheaper than the tourist places and nobody looking to rip you off!
I'm sitting here in Scotland with my Cat purring on my lap (her favourite place), drinking Vodka & watching the Sanctioned Ivan & the beautiful Evelina searching for an apartment in Thailand..
I feel an overwhelming sense of relief seeing you guys finally out of Russia & FREE.!!!!
Please stay safe out there guys & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️
What kind of Scot are you, drinking vodka? 😂😂😂

@@TheGesox Yeah, he should defo have stayed around for mobilization cos that's a great life choice, isn't it - 400,000 russian KIA and counting. Stay triggered, bot-boy : D
@@Vinterbukser lol I’m in Australia drinking Armagnac cheers…
Besides the terrorism at the concert hall and the extended conflict with Ukraine, what else is wrong with Russia? Are Russian men still being recruited for battle?
Ivan, I hope you and Evelina and kitties find a nice home soon. 😊
Hi, I rented a house , having a cat and a dog for $500 a month, 15,000 baht. In Chiang Mai. You are in Pattia, which is a tourist town . That is why it is so difficult. If you can, find a mo ban, housing development and look for for rent signs. That is how I got my house.
You can rent a good house for 5.000bath/months 30 min north of Bkk!
I think Ivan needs to take Thailand a bit more serious! It’s not a wimpy country and scams everywhere including the ole rental property proxy where you pay and they disappear with no apartment.
Also he needs to keep away from the Muslim areas if she is going to wear that dress. Sorry but fish out of water syndrome.
He needs to grow up and expand his thinking beyond the very superficial ideals he seems to constantly embrace. He's young, so maybe that's why he's so foolish and naiive?
Vote for renting a house outside Pattaya city and avoid living in Muslim neighborhoods. Apartments might not be the best choice for them if they own pets.
@@weekdaycycling Hehe I moving from Sweden because of them!
Ivan, you got to get out of Terminal 21 and the Russian Market, there is SOOOOOO much more to Pattaya!! I have never rented for a "pets allowed" apartment, so I can't advise you on that. But, being you are not there on holiday and not a single guy, stay away from Soi 6 and the walking streets areas as they will always be noisy and busy. You want to look on the outskirts for a quieter place for the cats and going further out will get you more square meters in the same price range.
he will I think, just in the setting up stage of life. soon the explorations.
Best to extend hotel stay than end up with the wrong apartment.
For sure!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ivan, I'm not even half way through today's video, and I don't yet know the outcome of your apartment search, but from the title, I suspect you have not yet found an apartment. May I make a suggestion. Sometimes the best sources can be from people who live there. You should stop and just ask people that you come across on the street, or in the mall, especially Western or America appearing people as they can be very accommodating. Being I spent my life owning and operating apartment buildings in the U.S., some of our best recommendations come from people on the street. Just casually walk up to people, introduce yourself, and tell them your dilemma, and you are searching for an apartment that allows cats. You may be surprised at the help you might receive. Just a suggestion, but it certainly can't hurt. I wish you and Evelina the best, and I might add she looks absolutely beautiful today, as usual. Be positive and know that you will find an apartment. Of course a minute or two later I heard you say about contacting Americans and Europeans. I just got a brainstorm. Go get a tee shirt printed with the following: We need to find an apartment that will accept our two cats. Please help us.
Europeans and Americans don't run Thailand. If they wanted to be in Europe, they would have stayed in Moscow. They are welcome to stay but not forever.
This is what I was going to suggest as well. You could ask the many Russians or tourists who seem to frequent the Russian Market there, they may have some suggestions or insight, or maybe even know of a place where they are. You just never know.
Good advice. That's how I found a place to live during the week when I was working in the Silicon Valley. Just stopped to ask a lady in a parking lot and she had a room that she rented me.
Nice suggestion with the t-shirt, 😀 unconventional, but might actually work!
Otherwise, it's better to consider choices like renting a house. Most rental houses allow pets. However, it's important to check the overall conditions of the location and neighborhood beforehand.
Hi Ivan and Evelina. You have to set realistic time frame to find apt. I think 5 days is not enough to look for apt. Not for me anyways. You have to start early in the mornings and expand your range. You cannot be lollygagging when looking for an apt. Grab something fast to eat on the go, or search while you are eating. The early bird gets the worm. 10 or 11 a.m. is already too late to contact ppl. Contact them EARLY in the morning and arrange a time. If they give you a late appt. time, it can mean others are viewing the apt. If you get strapped looking for the apt you want, and they take pets, take it for now, even if it's small 25 sq feet. You can take it for a couple of months, then you can look more leisurely without stress for a better apt you want. I think you need to tell the ppl the cats are trained to use kitty litter so there will be no issue there. And buy them a scratching board. You can tell the landlords you walk the cats on a leash and they do not roam free. Maybe the locals Thai ppl let their cats roam randomly and do their needs wherever. Tell them your cats are trained and you like to keep your apt spotless. You could need at least a week or 2 to get decent apt. Not 5 days. Crazy Russian Sergey always managed to get a decent room with bathroom and sometimes balcony. You should contact him and ask him where he stayed. If hotel is expensive, you can move to a cheaper room temporarily while you are looking. Sergey showed his room wherever he goes, and surprisingly they are relatively decent. Or stay in the hotel you are presently at till you find apt, however hotels are not great to stay extended time. Expensive and too small. Sounds like your hotel doesn't include breakfast.
I just did some quick research. The most expensive cities to live in Thailand are Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok. The cheapest cities to live in Thailand are Chiang Mai · Ayutthaya · Korat · Udon Thani · Chiang Rai. Why not move to a cheaper non-touristy city?
He loves to eat at the Russian market place.
Ivan: Sometimes a good way to find what your looking for, is to ask a taxi driver, they go everywhere, and know where people live. good luck.
I am happy you are out my little Ivan. But I worry how you be getting on from there. Please take care. All our love to you Evalina and the putty cats from Denmark

Stay Positive
As an American, finding an apartment on the fly is no easy task. After a fall out with a former roommate, it took me close to a month to find another apartment in another state. I stayed with friends here and there and slept in my car. Everything in my storage unit. Finally found a place and it’s been 9 years now. But leaving your country to move to another country is twice harder on short notice. Especially, with everything going on in Russia. And then you have to transfer money/income from and to and apply for work to maintain your status to get established in the new country. Definitely not easy to do on the fly. It’s tedious process. Wish you guys good luck and glad you’re safe with your fur babies.
What I respect most you bring your cats, good luck will come to those with good hearts, 👍

Don`t Lie About The Cats... Don`t Lie.. (I`m a Landlord In Canada That Allows Pets.)
What is he lying about? Not all buildings management especially in new buildings allow pets because its hassle to maintain especially common areas where your animal can have accidents.
Have no clue how easy it is to get an apartment but I wish you all good luck. I was on your livestream once about a border that was open between Norway and Russia and my brother was married with a Putin lover Russian women that only watching Russian propaganda TV all day long. You asked where in USA they lived but they live in Norway. She have been married and lived in Norway for 13 years but she doesn't speak the language yet even after been to school for 2 times. Her English is bad too. She doesn't speak to me because I support Ukraine but I don't care what she thinks of me. At least you dare to speak up. Good luck to you and Evelina ❤. Regards from the Netherlands.
Every country pushes propaganda, US, UK, Russia, China, and ESPECIALLY UKRAINE. so to me, she sounds like she's a Russian patriot, and i doubt she gives a shit what you think of her. lol
It seems like RuZZians expect everyone to learn THEIR language & accommodate them instead of learning the language of the country THEY live in!! It seems like everywhere they go they STILL think they’re better than everyone else & start trying to take over!!
I feel bad for your brother!!
I would tell her that if she adores Putin that much then she needs to go back to Russia. It must be torture for her to live in such an affluent, forward, advanced liberal Democracy like Norway. She should be deported. Your poor brother doesn't need that madness.
It is really sad when people live abroad and don't try to learn the language and accustom to the country. They are somewhat isolated and kept back.
3 days is nothing. Be patient. In France where I live apartment hunting can take months. The French are so suspicious because the renters have many laws that protect them even if they don't pay and it takes months to get them out.
In the US you can go to the store and when you come back there could be a squatter in your house and it could take years to get them out and probably around 25 thousand plus dollars in lawyer fees and if you harass the squatters you will be arrested and face prison time home squatters have more rights then the home owner Florida just signed a law yesterday to give the home owner more rights than the squatters but the US has 49 more states.
sounds like new york or california.
@@Lucysdad66 BS, the only 2 states where renters have more rights than landlords are california and NY. Florida is the cesspool of the US.

But the Russian government is a parasite on the backs of Russian people and is an enemy to many others therefore.

Let's be honest, if your next stop is the USA, than you will be in Thailand for at least a year. The process to get a VISA to the US takes a lot of time. As well , even if you get really lucky and it less than a year, I'm sure there is a way to sublet the apartment or pay a penalty. It would not cost much because you will be there for a year. Honestly, the pet issue isn’t too different than in the US. I had to be basically homeless for a few weeks with my poor cat because it took so long for the process to go through. We are doing much better now, but effectively we had to settle for whatever we could get. Ended up having to break the lease but it really wasn’t the end of the world as I was able to move into a much nicer apartment afterwards.
My advice is take one of these year long leases. If you have to break the lease than so be it. Got to do what you’ve got to do bro.
