There's something not right with this ewe. Vlog 773
์์ค ์ฝ๋
- ๊ฒ์์ผ 2024. 03. 26.
- Sooo... we had a few surprises this week.
One in the form of a ewe that both my vet and me have identified as a hermaphrodite.
And she's not been feeling good.
Also finished cleaning the barn just in time for our very special guest!!

Ms Sandi...just need you to know...I have about 50+ subscriptions. Only a very few are very dear to me. You are one. I am sorry to say, I use you! When I see a new Sandi video, I pick a chore that must be completed b4 I sit & watch. At 65, I haven't done chores this fast since I was a kid & couldn't play outside til I dusted the furniture!! I live for your videos! It may not seem like it to you, but you are a huge inspiration. No one works harder with more love for her profession than you. And it certainly helps that said profession involves beautiful animals & the cycle of life! You're the bomb, Sandi! Thanks!!
I do the same thing. I always have. It's a great motivation!!
I couldnโt have said that better myself. 65 here too. In truth I donโt have your self control, I have to watch it as soon as soon as I see it, which in New Zealand is usually first thing early, early morning. ๐ณ๐ฟ
Very well said and I agree completely!! ๐
Love this ..I too am 65....
I NEED to adopt this strategy.....next time!!๐
Oh, and 61 here in SoCal.
SANDI I want you to know we had a difficult delivery last night and I knew EXACTLY what to do because of watched your channel. Everyone is alive. Mother rejected babies because of difficult delivery. They were both coated with merconium. Thanks. You help more than you realize. โคโคโค๐
congrats!!
Thatโs great news. Shepards help Shepards!
Can't wait to see the Golden Girls' charcuterie board!
Thank you for hosting us, hope you can make it down here to Australia one day and see some 'real' farms! ๐

I've never heard Tara so quiet and reserved. At least while she was on camera. I'll bet she was a real cutup later ๐๐ ๐คฃ๐
@@Darla-kf1jp All I could think was, don't swear on camera ๐
๐๐๐
@TaraFarms But that's how we'd know it's you!
Please - swear away! You never swear for the sake of swearing. It always sounds quite natural to the situation.
It was lovely seeing you, and we'll all be watching for when you host Sandi and Mark!
My mum always said: they are coming to see you, not your house. Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter!
Exactly ๐ฏ
Very wise and worthy advice ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Somehow that needs to be on a shirt, I'd but it ๐๐ป๐๐ป
I had that happen to me at the store. My bill was close to $300 dollars. I only had $100 in cash. I was in panic. No idea where my card could have gone. The man behind me whipped out his credit card and said he would pay, and for me not to worry about it. I couldn't believe anyone would pick up that amount. Turns out my daughter had my card. I was able to pay my own bill. Can't believe the generosity of some people. God bless him.
That is a one in a million man๐๐ฅฐ๐
I am searching my car bedroom desk and can't find my debt card . Now I have to go to the bank today do the;
I have lost my card. Darn rats.
may this man be highly blessed and favoured
That is so cool! I might balk at 200, but Iโd go 100 in the right situation.๐ธ
My debit card expired and I forgot to request a new one because they usually mail them out early.
My local grocery only takes cash, check, or debit. I had an emergency $50 in my wallet but had $19 left, the mama ahead of me handed me her $20 and I almost cried. Bless her.
My Gram's rules for what goes in her garden: you have to either look pretty, smell pretty or taste pretty.
Great philosophy!
Just a little glimpse of Jess there at the end. She looks amazing! Her hair is adorable!
She looks more like her dad every time we see her xxx
She should always keep it short, her bone structure is so amazing she is one of the few that can 100% pull it off and make it look amazing.
I enjoy watching her YT to keep up.
I was thinking about that myself that Jess's hair looked really cute. I'm glad that she could meet the Sheep Farmers from Australia.
I am 70 and I never eat alone when there is a Sandy video. Makes me smile every time!
I love this!โฅ๏ธ
Me too. ๐
I walk on the treadmill:0), canโt say it helps a lot but Iโm not eating biscuits and drinking tea ๐
Me, too, although I have to add that sometimes... I mean, it's interesting stuff that I definitely do want to see... but maybe not while I'm eating.,,
Tonight this elderly gal and her pup had supper watching this video. I find it all interesting.
Sandi and Tara together! I was hoping to see you two together. Two brilliant, hard-working ladies in one spot!
I needed that to happen, and not one single cuss word from Tara ๐๐๐๐๐, I was waiting for her to say something and see what Sandi's reaction would have been lol ๐
They probably both cussed (swore) a bit and Sandi cut it out!@@jackieisabelajaso
That's not Tara, she never once called any of the sheep "Ma'am" or said the f-word ๐คฃ
@@ArtGirl82 actually Tara has posted her visit video and umm I think you should go check it out, and yeah Sandi cut lose some cuss words a little in the beginning of TARA'S video
She did say the f word right at the beginning LOL@@ArtGirl82
I always talked my grandfather into keeping the black lambs. They were a rarity in the flock so they were special. I knew it was silly, but its how it was. Those lambs were also pretty spoiled. They got to follow me around while doing chores, feeding everyone up, and just playing around. Spoiled me a bit too getting to live the life I did. Wouldn't trade a second. ๐โค๐
Still here sandy. I am one of you ogโsโฆI donโt always comment because you get so many. I hope you have time to read this. I have not missed one video for many years now and just wanted to say I love you and your family. I consider you my favorite person on you tube. Always interesting and informative. And you are the hardest working women I have ever seen. Mush love and blessings โคโคโค
That cinnamon-coloured singleton ram lamb was HUGE, right from the get-go! I hope he gets to stay & play his part in the Brock flock!! ๐๐๐
Yeah that was a Ram I would have kept too....SIngles are not desirable, but sometimes size counts too.
My mom used to say we had to throw periodic parties to keep the house clean, sounds likes guests are the same for Sandi. ๐โค
LoL! We did that, too!
Had Grandma over!
I love the colored sheep. โค
I love when you get different colored lambs!
Love Tara! She is one in a billion special person. Thank you for letting us know about her channel.
Jess's curly hair is so adorable! Not for the first time, I think she could score some serious coin picking up modelling gigs! Gorgeous girl! ๐๐
Jessโs hair is so curly! I love it! I am loving the drone footage!!!!
Chemo and radiation does that to your hair. It's Common after cancer treatment is done and your hair is growing back.I don't know why.Mine was just like hers when it grew back. Now after seven years of being in remission, it's back to my waist again. And not curly anymore.Boohoo๐ข.
I love how the girls and boys look up with curiosity when the drone is filming them. Also, so glad you discussed maybe keeping a couple of those tunis boys. That one that was in the bottle pen was sooooo cute.
Watching you move gates and sheep is like watching a ballet.
The trifecta of sheep collabs! Thank you Sandi for showing us the world of sheep farming.
Thank you so much for taking us on your Holiday! It was so cool seeing you and Cammy! We watch your videos and in some way we become part of your beautiful world!! Iโve loved you and your family for lots of years and feel very blessed that you let us in!! ๐ฅฐ๐! Xo
Sandi & Tara, twice in one day, what a treat! โคโคโคโค
I was thinking for April's fools you could
Put one of those realistic looking cardboard TVs with the GGs... Take pics of the sheep looking in the direction of the TV... ๐๐
Itโs so amazing that PETA has survived to be able to breed! Yay!
I'm just devastated, you edited the best part of the barn cleaning out, the clearing out the old is the best!!! Please include that! It's satisfying ๐
Enjoying a job means you donโt have a job you have a hobby. Especially when hobbies bring profit. Enjoy every second and donโt ever regret loving your job

You are so inspiring. Thank you. ๐๐ค๐ฅณ
That lamb shook his head. Yes when you asked the question about you love this hayโฆ.๐
How wonderful that Sandi has Sheep Farmer friends from other countries. Sandi and Mark recently went to Scotland and visited Sheep Farmers there. Now, Sheep Farmers from Australia were visiting Sandi. And that's extra nice because Tara also has a KRplus channel. They have so much in common to talk about.
I like the difference between you and Tara! Tara is a crazy woman! ๐คช๐ฅน๐ ๐๐คฃ
Iโm so glad to see you using the drone in the barn ! It brings a whole new aspect to your videos that I absolutely love to see ! Along with it being safer for you to get those high up shots !!
I had my eyes checked on Tues. relieved to say no changes in the last 2.5 years and all healthy.
Iโm 65 years old so you will be fine you youngster.
"There aren't enough boxes for Amazon" - so funny and true
Loved how all the sheep got as far away from you they could get after you gave the one itโs shot.๐
So interesting. I didn't know that sheep could be hermaphroditic. I always enjoy learning from you, Sandi. I'm glad you found your payment card. That's a relief.
So can human babies. I think it's possible for any gendered animal to have genetic "oops". Sometimes XXY, sometimes XYY. ๐๐
๐จ๐ฆ Sandi , when youโre looking for Canadian dairy products, especially with cheeses and yogurts etc, just look for the little blue cow symbol ๐ Just a little plug from your local dairy farmer ๐
I love that you all visit each other's farms! Such cool friendships created by social mediaโค
I was chatting to my friend on the phone today while shoppingโฆ got to the checkout and couldnโt find my phone to pay, told the lady to wait while I went to the car to get my phone. Duh, senior moment ๐
Hope someone stopped you before you got out to your car to look!๐
Jacksโ room is looking really good. I think a great touch might be to change out the posters and add a nice print above the bed. Thrift stores or home stores have those.
I like you sense of design Sandi. A cute sage green bed scape. Demure lighting and side tables. .... screaming rock and roll posters.!!! Oops! Lol! ๐
I love watching Kinsey herd the sheep; its also fun to watch Piper learn how to herd from Kinsey. And then there is Piper and Lucy playing. They dogs are as much fun to watch as the sheep. I am amazed how much better Kinsey is herding from a couple years ago.
Yes, we would love to see those Tunis ram lambs grow like we did Billy and friends and stay part of the flick.
Sandi, it just amazes me how you move your sheep around so you can clean pens! I love watching you!
The sheep getting shuffled from one pen looks very organic--almost like a growing vine.
Yay! Tara visits. Been enjoying her shorts for a while. so funny when she gets turtles. Sandi lovely barn, its so calming to have things cleaned. I know the pain of "holy cow!!! they'll be here" and you realize all the things you haven't done yet.
Bet that barn smells much better ... Now you're ready for lambing!
That shot of Piper playing with the sheep ๐โค. Seeing you and Tara together this week was just awesome. Adore you both! โ๐ป๐ฉท๐ก
Thanks for the glimpse of Jess at the end working the puzzles with you & Tara. Her hair is growing back curly. I saw a video on SciShow just the other day with Hank Green, who, as you may know, was treated for cancer just last year. He was discussing "Chemo Curls", and elaborating on the phenomenon of a person after being treated for cancer by chemotherapy having a different texture, sometimes different color and other changes that may happen to their hair after chemo is done and the hair grows back. His grew back in curly. He discusses how there needs to be more research into this happening, and how it may affect cancer patients, and what it may tell us about the cellular changes that happen with chemo. Anyway, it was interesting.
I saw that - love and have watched Hank and John Green for many years - and heard that the curls wouldn't last.
It'll be interesting to watch how both John's and Jess' curls grow out during these next few years.
Watching them both come through chemo this past year was so difficult.
Now knowing that Catherine Princess of Wales is also going through chemo is also rough.
Back in September of 1980, my 43 year old Dad was diagnosed with lymphoma (I don't know what type) and he died on December 23, 1980. 4 months after diagnosis.
Very close in age to both Hank and Catherine.
I hope for the sake of her young family that Catherine will have a very speedy recovery from her surgery and chemo.
I know it's none of my business, but I would like to know what type of cancer Catherine has just so we'd know if she at least has a fighting chance.
I'm hoping it was found at the very early stages even if it is pancreatic cancer because they have come a long way with life expectancy the earlier its caught.
I'm just rambling now.
Life is so very hard!
Cancer doesn't care about age, socioeconomics, or anything!
It happens in other instances, too.
One friend has a seriously high fever at 12yo. She lost quite a bit of hair from the fever. When her hair grew back, her very straight hair grew back curly.
Another friend also had straight hair but after her 2nd child her hair grew in curly.
Very interesting.
I'm a retired nurse & I haven't dug down & done any research on this. What I learned long ago was that the straightness or curliness of hairs is determined by the shape of the follicle. So I find it really mystifying that the shape of the follicle would change. Off to consult the great Google-y..... ๐๐
@@elainerempel1613 I remember learning that, too. But maybe serious fevers, hormone changes, and obviously injected chemicals (especially if those chemicals make you lose your hair) can all actually change the shape of the follicle?
Two of my favourite girls in one youtube, Sandi and Tara. Two totally different ways to farms. Love those Aussie accents.
I saw your "SURPRISE" This morning โคโคโคโค THE 2 PEOPLE I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED TOGETHER....๐
I love how some of your sheep seem to look at you squarely in your face. They have such a curious and intelligent expression. Itโs like they want to chat. I always think of it as their โwhatcha doin Sandyโ look.
The queen of cussing!! Tara!! Love her to pieces. Super happy you got the chance to meet her in person. Thank you for sharing โค.
Omg seeing Tara and Jess puzzling brought me to tears! I love you all so much! โค๐
Jess's hair is beautiful. Blessings to you and your family.
Sandi, girl, you've got your hands full! I don't know if anyone who could handle it like you โค

Loved hearing the accents in Tara and Liam's conversation ๐
Welcome to Canada, Tara & Liam!! So good to have you visiting our Sandi! ๐๐
I just watched Tara's video this morning. This was great. Thank you!!
Tara cracks me up with the recliners, and tv! ๐
So excited waiting for babies!โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
That was like watching a sheep rodeo! ๐๐ค Had to come back and add this - Jess' hair looks adorable. Please tell her.
I was so pleased to see my two favorite sheperdesses together! Hope Tara and Liam had fun in Canada!
Hi Sandi, great to see you and the sheep again. So glad you got to finish cleaning out, I love watching the dogs helping you. So nice to see Tara and Liam from down under. I can only imagine 7000 sheep before lambing. Thanks for letting us visit with you again.
Sandi, after watching you the last 5 or 6 years, l have to tell you that you fill my heart! I love you, your family , the sheep and the dogs, and even the farming side of things. Thank you for educating and sharing. Peace and Love P.C
Tara is hilarious! Sandi you are a blessing to so many. ๐โ๐
Your channel is one of the few I don't speed up to watch. I really even like watching you clean out the pens, too. I missed that this time.
Why do you speed videps? Most you tubers talk way too fast. ๐
@aliceDarts some of them slow the videos down because youtube wants a 20 minute video if they want paid. Speeding up to 2x isn't even fast enough half the time. You can turn on close captioning if their speech is hard to understand. I process fast, so listening fast better for me.
@@nancienordwick4169 cool! Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that info and it was good to know. ๐

Good catch on the different ewe. Glad you didn't have to put it down. I know how much that affects your head space. Keep on sheeping on.. ๐๐
