I continue to be amazed by the amount of work your family puts in to running the farm. Field work until after sunset, up early for animal chores, calculating dates to maximize output. I have so much respect for your family. Jess may have turned 19 but her maturity is well beyond. I understand the dilemma, well the tests are negative, (yay), we still don't know what is wrong (boo). Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

My 16 yr old grandson is learning to drive one of the wagons during harvest this summer down in Texas. Thanks to me watching your videos this last year, this old Nana can talk with him like I understand what he is doing. He is amazed at my knowledge. Lol. He also raises sheep to show for school. Has two lambs now.

I live in Alberta and always enjoy watching the harvest in the evening into the night with all the lights in the fields. Here they go until dew hits. I so love sheep so keep Sharing yours with us Sandi💞.

I hope goat feels better soon, she definitely has a special place in a lot of hearts. I really loved seeing grain farming from a technical point of view, so weighing to see for any loss when harvesting and hearing about how you can tell if a crop is ready to be harvested, I like to watch when I'm unfortunately in bed in pain from my illness and you guys all make the information your giving easy to understand and follow. I also love to see every aspect of sheep farming, I have laughed with you and cried with you and it is what keeps me going on those bad days. Sandi cares so much for her sheep. I saw the big difference in "Goat" within the couple of days after Sandi giving her some kind of grains (?) and the hay that she appeared to like very much. And special attention by Sandi may have helped with Goat feeling better. Love can generate healing even in animals.

Growing up on a dairy farm 240 head of cows my mum had a name for them all, now 57 yrs old and still remember some of their names.

Wow first time I've even seen Canola harvested. Fascinating! I sure hope Goat is doing better as well. She's a real character and hopefully she'll pull though what ever is making her not feel well. Give her some ear scratches. Good thinking that you do a little more blood work diagnosis and see if you can find a cause and if the worst happens, hopefully you can learn something that will help prevent someone else from having the same issue. It's more money that way to do the testing, but sometimes it can really repay itself in spades if you can find a cause and prevent it in the future. Happy B-Day Jess! My mom’s side were wheat farmers in Saskatchewan and I “drove” a combine once with my uncle, a long time ago. That's one thing of having lots of animals that are prey animals, it's hard to tell if they're not well.. sending well wishes and prayers to GOAT and sending you strength and patience to handle whatever comes. I raise rabbits and theyre similar in hiding when they're ill

Blood and fecal tests are very useful and all but nothing beats a vet coming out and putting eyes and hands on a sheep. Then you know whatever the outcome, you did all you could. I really hope goat gets better.
