On one of the picks Deion was sitting back in cover 3 exactly like Sherman does in Seattle. Just because teams today employ different strategies doesn't take away from the greatness of the players.
Deion still the GOAT at CB though

That dude on the left Peterson was unhealthy that season(2014) He had a flare up from his diabetes. He showed last season he can man Julio.

When Jerry puts up his hand let it fly alot of those throws were late or not on point. Great rivalry tho.

Good defense isn't always about getting the stop. Lots of times, it's about making the window smaller. With a worse defender, having to slow down for a throw isn't as big of a deal. The fact that the route needed to be perfect and the throw had to be a dime says a lot about Deion's coverage.

Deion is the only corner back that I ever saw who you could line up against any elite WR and he would not allow one reception the entire game. Prime Revis Island is close but Deion will always be the greatest corner that ever lived.

Great watching these guys playing. 2 of the best ever. I remember nobody used to throw to Deion's side when he covered someone - the guy was just so good. I think even QBs had sleepless nights not just receivers when playing against Sanders. Guy was a great player and an amazing baseball player too.
Just watching these replays he hardly allows Jerry RIce an inch to catch the ball. 2 brilliant players, thanks for uploading.

Rice wasn't the fastest, but he had a way of moving which threw off anyone who was guarding him; a master at faking people out. An extremely intelligent player.
