Nice to see a sketch that uses so many cast members, doesn't feel labored, has a good runtime, and doesn't just have everyone reacting to one character who is wacky or crazy. Everyone was good in this but Mikey faking them out about no one flying the plane is what made me laugh.
Well, one was feeling labored....
It reminds me of that old airplane sketch with David Spade where they say "g'bye"
They had a lot of people on it!
You get hung up on the dumbest things. Its only important if the sketch is funny or not, not screen time sharing for niceness sake.
@@danielcubillasvaldez1784 well SNL has had times where they just don’t use some of their cast bc of stereotyping but they’ve done a good job of mixing it up. I think it’s okay to bring it up bc it adds to the sketch and does it in a funny good way instead of throwing too much and trying to make it stick.
@@carlosvillatoro1532 That's very true. There's also the problem that in recent seasons, sketches that mostly have comedy for one person while everyone else is just there to react to them have become less and less funny (like that spaceship sketch a few weeks ago).

@@susanmidlarsky2571 Nobody cares. All teachers do is complain and yell about how special they are. It comes across as pathetic. Especially when you consider how much less they work during their work week and much time off they get during the year compared to normal workers.

Nate killed it on SNL !! He's one of my all-time favorite comedians (on the order of Steven Wright, Bobcat Goldthwait (sp?), etc) and I am SO HAPPY to see him on SNL ! One of my very favorite of his jokes/stories is the one about Snake World in North Caroline. I was almost peeing my pants (ok, I think I did a little ... ). And his delivery is perfect. "I'm Italian. Yeah, I like spaghetti," talking to other Italian Americans in his Tennessee accent ...

@@davidkruse4030 I watch every episode. And have watched every episode from the Will Ferrell era to now. SNL knows how to be funny 90% of the time. It's independent of the guest host for the most part. And yes Musk was excruciatingly cringey.

Genuinely enjoyed this one. Haven’t been huge on SNL the last few years but every so often they hit it out the park. Last weekend’s show was great. Maybe having Dave Grohl and Bargatze on (genuine folk - for the rich, anyway) leveled the neuroticism off to acceptable levels or something.
I love how David Grohl randomly shows up in SNL sketches I think he is the best surprise guest behind maybe Justin Timberlake, although we don't see much of him since Andy has been gone.
