Heechul's concept of designing a house is to make things easy to clean. I remember that he used to have everything all black in his old place but it apparently made him depressed so he changed everything to all white. He buys colorful furnishings anyway. Remember his red sofa? He must also be very determined to get married and was thinking that he should not think so much about what to put in the house except for what he really wants because his wife will change everything anyway.

I really love his place and always say after my kids are all grown. My home will be mostly white, one colour paint.
If he is happy in his house then that’s all what matters.
I know he love and respect his mother but it’s his home and she already live her life.

Actually sweet, thought prepping for a wife. First thought "we are starting with a clean slate to color our lives how we want to" aka no bachelor pad relic's. Easy enough to add color/textures etc. with furniture, art plants etc. and just as easy to change themes given no hold back from hard surfaces colors and patterns.
There was a show in the US called Monk, character had a lot of anxiety & phobia's and his house was all white to reduce stress when home.

I can understand Hee Chul, my house is also very clean till now since the day I moved in. I can easily see a string of hair on my flooring too.🤣 lol

I know theyre hamming it up for the broadcast but his place is really not that bad. I completely agree with Heechul changing the floor tile. Marble is pretty but its not practical and stains very easily. Not good when you have a fur baby. As for all the white, nice colorful furnishings can take care of that. Love his soaking tub and much prefer the new kitchen.

Very unique house! If that’s his style i love it. Hopefully pictures/art and furniture gives it a different vibes. Excited to see the final product

i understand the reason why he went for all white but the house before was so pleasing and beautful, i think it would have been better if it was not stark white but rather off-white and neutrals (and keeping original marble flooring)

HeeChul likes to be clean. By having the entire apartment in white, he feels comforted and comfortable. I like it. However, he should have left the marble flooring and parquet for the bedroom….they’re expensive . I bet the renovators could have taken them home for themselves.
White is beautiful and neutral bcoz it can go with any colour in decor. But I think a soft white would be cooler. Love the kitchen & laundry. And the build-in wardrobe ❤️. Waaaa…..Go HChul…💕💕👏👏. BTW, perfect music for this clip……Swan Lake (white swan). SiWon and WonHee should have been here.
HeeChul…you must check with a Fung Shui Master to place that tortoise in the correct spot to bring in the blessings.
