I was also very happy to see them enjoying with SukJin - how genuinely encouraging and considerate they were of Suk Jin during the pool game (Suk Jin usually is the butt of all jokes and a least favoured team member being a weak player and all). 2pm boys and Suk Jin were the underdogs (they had the least amount of time) and since the pool game I was really rooting for them. I guess coming second place with the kind of limited time they had, was Daebak in itself.
3rd & 4th gen idols can't relate. So sad they can't have interactions like these with other idols. (Imagine if Eunji is a 3rd gen gg member and L & Joon are 3rd gen bb members, the chaos it'll make). Too bad for new gen fans also, coz those days were so fun.

Why are you fans since then talk as if idol interactions from the past were never a taboo? It all started in the 90s especially between H.O.T and S.E.S and Finkl and Sechskies. The HotSechGodRG had talk about how worst it was then than it isnow. SNSD and Super Junior may have moments then but at the cost of hatred towards SNSD from ELFs which showed in the dream concert black ocean. DBSK fans were the most obvious example that not even actresses can come near them.

The obsessed fans kept gettin out of hands as the time passed and, we've come to a stage were, if a female idol smiled or even made an eye contact, there gonna be rumours/articles/death threats. Since more people are into kpop nowadays, it gonna be more difficult and hard for idols to deal with obsessed fans now compared to then. And ofc they would avoid female idols at this rate.
Min Kyunghoon it’s the same from the past and now. It’s just that more cameras watching and recording every moments. If personal cameras(fans’ belongings) were more common then, information were shared more in more social media accounts and more fans use social media platforms I’m sure hate will spread much faster. But because it lack that then, fans were not very informed about what happens behind the scene between the idols that can stir rumors. People can only assume what’s shown on TV and few youtube clips. But once it erupts, it becomes really bad.

There have always been bad Kpop fans in the past as there were the good ones, but they're becoming worse due to the tech use and being able keep tabs on their idols. Back then it wasn't as crazy as it was as compared to now and ofc the past times would be horrible too if they had the same tech as we do now. What we're talkin rn is the comparison btw the new and old kpop fans not, the 'possiblities' of the old fans to go as crazy as the new fans if they had what we have now.

I feel like 2PM are perfect examples of the benefits of being fit and healthy as opposed to being skinny, like lots of boy and girl idols are. You can clearly see how easily Chansung and Wooyoung overpowered everyone else because they eat the food they need, exercise regularly and become fit through healthy methods, instead of going on extreme fad diets.

Since more people are into kpop nowadays, it gonna be more difficult and hard for idols to deal with obsessed fans now compared to then. And ofc they would avoid female idols at this rate.

If personal cameras(fans’ belongings) were more common then, information were shared more in more social media accounts and more fans use social media platforms I’m sure hate will spread much faster. But because it lack that then, fans were not very informed about what happens behind the scene between the idols that can stir rumors. People can only assume what’s shown on TV and few youtube clips. But once it erupts, it becomes really bad.

What we're talkin rn is the comparison btw the new and old kpop fans not, the 'possiblities' of the old fans to go as crazy as the new fans if they had what we have now.

I feel like 2PM are perfect examples of the benefits of being fit and healthy as opposed to being skinny, like lots of boy and girl idols are. You can clearly see how easily Chansung and Wooyoung overpowered everyone else because they eat the food they need, exercise regularly and become fit through healthy methods, instead of going on extreme fad diets.
