Unlike us human, crocodile is one of those type of animals where their eyes placed on side of their head instead of front side

Chill friend. The veterinary team must have evaluated the conditions and situations that made them came to this decision, as you can also see, they are following up closely and taking care of that beautiful fake eyeball implanted in that crocodile.
In terms of vision, it may not be of use, in terms of outlook and visual beauty, this probably helps to fill in the hollowness and loss of the eye.
