아마 아줌마가 병원에서 살다시피하며 남편간병하는 사이, 누군가 이때다 싶어 때리거나 해쳐서 데려간듯 하네요. 큰개를 얌전히 데려가긴 힘드니 아마 도구를 썼겠죠. 그때 충격받아서 트라우마 생긴듯.

사람이 자기엄마를 죽을때까지 패고 엄마 피가 사방에 튀고 엄마는 살러달라고 비명 지르는데 아무도 도와주지못하는 상황속에 엄마가 죽고 질질 끌고가는걸본상황에 사람이라도 미쳐서 돕니다...하물며 강아지가 어떻게 견디겠어요...

예전에 개장수들 개 모아놓은곳 찾아가서 시위하는 라이브 해서 봤는데 목줄 끊겨있는 개.사람들 오면 너무 좋아하는 개 들 사이에 나무 몽댕이가 떨어져 있더라구요.. 그거보고 맘이 너무 아팠음

남편이 아파서 병원 왔다갔다하느라 집에있는 시간이적고 밥도 제대로 못주는 상황이라 강아지들이 목줄풀린상태로 먹이찾아 돌아다니다가 동네 노친네들이 유기견이나 들개인줄알고 둘다 잡아먹으려고 엄마몽둥이로 때려죽이고 다롱이까지 죽이려는거 가까스로 탈출해서 집으로 도망쳐 왔다는거같은데..
다롱이 시선에선 엄마가 몽둥이로 맞으면서 피흘리며 죽어가는 모습을 보고 정신적인 충격이 너무 커서 지금 상황이 된거같음. 그리고 그 충격받은 상태로 그냥 방치돼서 상태가 악화된게 자기탓이라는 죄책감에 주인아줌마는 미안해하는거같음

시골에서 길잃은 남의 댕댕이 망치로 뚝배기 깨서 쳐먹고 앞 발만 냄겨놔서 엄마견 멘탈 나갔단 기사 봤을 때 ㄹㅇ 어이털림.

아 세상에 다롱이가 눈앞에서 엄마가 맞아죽는걸 보고 동생까지 약먹여 죽어가는걸 보고 살아있는건..마음의 충격과 상처는. . 아가 대견하다.

To clear up some of the confusion.
This KRplus channel is run by a TV show as advertising. They want you to tune in to the actual episode on TV so they never show the full episodes but only parts that make you curious for the episode. Just like US TV shows do.
A lot of their Videos, just like this one, are really choppy and hard to figure out whats going on because of that.
This dog was not abused by the owner.
During the Korean war eating dog meat became common in korea. It is now illegal but there are still some people who do eat dog meat (its not common anymore! In fact most people now own dogs as pets and would never harm them or eat another dog), but since producing dog meat is illegal people steal dogs to sell them to restaurants for a lot of money.
A lot of the korean comments say this is what happened here. The mother dog was stolen and killed but the younger one got away but is traumatized since then.
We don’t know what exactly happened during the time both of these dogs were stolen. Maybe both of them were beaten. We don’t know.
In the description it says the dog is so scared that no one can go near him.
I am guessing since the dog is so scared its also hard to take prober care of its fur. Let alone give him a prober bath.
I don’t think someone would take great care of their dog for many years (as seen in the picture, the dog was clean and happy) just to suddenly abuse the dog. Then go to a TV show and try and fix it.
There are many people assuming this dog was beaten by its owner and that is very wrong to do. Especially if you don’t understand the language and don’t have any facts about this story.
There are laws in korea against animal abuse. So I believe this TV show would report it if this was the case.
Also comments saying he looks like the dogs that are used for eating. Thats because this is a korea native dog breed called Jindo. This dog is probably the most common in korea which is why you would see it in that context often too.
Adding some Information:
If you watch the whole episode the owner says her dog used to really like being touched and hugged by the owner. She says the dogs behavior changed after it went out with its mom and said she things the dogs mom was taken away during that time. There was also another dog, the brother of this dog, who was killed by drugging it by someone a few months later.
In general people who raise dogs in a bit more rural areas in Korea usually don’t really tie them up or look after them all the time. They leave them roaming around freely. So this dog used to roam around freely too and wasn’t tied up all the time. So its a possible scenario.
I also left out this information in the beginning because I didn’t feel like it was that important but the woman said she didn’t take action immediately after the dogs behavior changed because her husband was very ill at that time. She wasn’t capable emotionally to care for the dog and she is really sorry about that.

just to give some new information, dogs can tell when you have eaten dog meat. dog meat makes your body temperature warmer. in the philippines, selling and consuming dog meat is also illegal in some places I think? but in Pampanga I think not. My uncle’s from pampanga, and when my dog saw him, she started growling at him. but my dog has never growled at anyone except him. My dog loves people, and it was shocking that she growled at someone in her first 3 years of living with us. she lived with us ever since she was 2-3 months old

Hi, I am South Korean and your explanation is absolutely correct. There are still many people who think the owner had abused that dog, but it is not the truth. The dog saw something terrible 4 years ago when she(the dog) was with her mother. The owner does not know what she(dog) saw at that time and wasn't with them. Also, the woman was also spending a hard time because of her husband's serious illness. It is true that, during the Korean War, Korean ate dog meat, however, now, the time flows and we think eating dog meat is unnecessary and very immoral. I also live with my lovely dog and always try to truly communicate with him. If you come to Korea, then you will see many people love and take care of their own dogs living together. Her husband was sick, so the poor woman couldn't do anything about that. Probably some devious neighbor did that. Why is it so easy for people to believe lies? That dog didn't see something aweful, it experienced. It's more probable that the dog itself got beaten in a very harsh way and that's why it got traumatized.

Well there must have been a police report when it happened and vet trips if the dog was there. Best guess is the dog is afraid because the murderer of his owner was his other owner or that the dog was attacked during the murder and survived. I dont think someone who hits their dog would go through this much trouble to help him.

Its more probable,sure, but it isnt impossible. Seen it myself. I have two dogs. One was beaten by a motorcyclist because she chased after him and made him fall (we stopped him, but a little too late). The other (a male) wasn't beaten, but witnessed it and ran away. She doesn't flinch anymore after a few years, but he never experienced it and winces like mad and runs away if anyone reaches out too quickly, even those that feed him and care for him and never strike him. Dogs are more complex than you think.

@@theresitalove Not true at all. I grew up on a farm and our neighbor screamed at and beat his animals daily. He'd leave herds of animals in fields of dirt for their entire lives. Police wouldn't do anything no matter how many reports were filed because the guy just paid off any fines and kept right on going. We frequently cut his fences because his goats would get stuck in the barbed wire trying to reach the grass on the other side. The jerk even tried locking our dog in his yard and saying she was his and he'd "teach her how to behave". And as far as he was concerned, he was doing nothing wrong at all.
Luckily, animal rescue got involved and began removing his animals. A court order forced him to enter a program where he was closely monitored in the care of his farm animals from then on. Yes, he should have had his farm taken away from him but that was as good as it was going to get in that area.
Never underestimate what crazy people are willing to do.

이번에 연남동인가 강아지 산책시키다가 잠깐 신발끈 묶는도중에 사라졌나? 근데 엄청 잔혹하게 죽어서 장이 파열되고 두개골 박살에 눈알이 튀어날정도로 죽어서 발견됐죠 알고보니 근처 고깃집 알바생이 길을 해매는 그 아이를 우연히 발견하고 거의 때려서 찢어죽인 사건.. 그 남자 우리나라 최초로 강력한 처벌을 받았다는데 그 전에도 다른 사례로 이런 일이 많았는데 최초라는 말이 2019년에 나왔으니
후진국이죠 어느 학자가 그 나라가 선진국인지 후진국인지 알려면 동물 법을 보라는 말도 있잖아요

So, let me get this straight. They owned this dog for 13 years, and yet the incident that caused the PTSD happened 4 years ago? That means that the other dog would have to have been killed under their ownership.
Furthermore, I've been around dogs my entire life. That's not the reaction of a dog that's seen some shit. That's the reaction of a dog that's *experienced* some shit.
Either the story's not quite what they want us to believe or they're leaving some crucial details out because something isn't adding up.
*Edit for everyone who still doesn't get it:* I'm not accusing the woman nor the husband of directly abusing the dog. Nor am I claiming to be a vet or dog psychologist (though, if that's your only argument to begin with, then you should probably just not comment at all since that's flimsy as hell. What if I was? Then what?). I'm claiming to have the common sense to see that something directly happened to this dog. Don't know, or honestly, even care *who* did it, and focusing too much on that is missing the entire point.
It's entirely possible that the dog got away from them and was abused by someone else before managing to return. But, of course, in that case they wouldn't know what actually happened. So, what do they do? They make up some story and put dramatic music and sound effects in the video to appeal to your emotions because that's what makes videos go viral, and judging by some of the comments here it definitely worked.
Keep in mind that this KRplus channel is operated by a Korean TV company. If you wouldn't believe everything you see on TV in your home country, don't be so willing to believe everything you see here.

Here’s how I see it
It saw its mother murdered in front for its eyes, the person that killed the mother approached the dog with the same gesture and so the dog associated that certain motion with harm/memory of its mother getting killed. So it gets ptsd from such things. It seems reasonable enough and they seemed to have implied that it happened while they weren’t looking after the two given the husband was sick at the time. But who knows

@@niggameat7140 The thing is, this doesn't make much sense to me because for that kind of thing to happen, the dog would basically have to just sit there and watch as its mother is being killed, but somehow get away in time not to be killed itself.
This doesn't make much sense considering a dog's (or anyone's, really) first instinct would be to either try to fight off the attacker, which in this case would have probably gotten it killed as well (or at least beaten, which again means more than simply witnessing something would have happened to it), or to run away immediately, before the attacker has a chance to turn their attention towards them.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing the woman or her husband of directly doing anything. It's entirely likely that it may have temporarily gotten away from them and had something done to it by a stranger. But I do sincerely doubt that this dog hasn't been directly abused itself in some way.

아휴 ... 이 순둥이 ㅠㅠ 상처 받으면 공격적으로 표현하는 아가들이 많은데 이 아이는 자기가 온전히 다 상처를 받고 감당하려다 보니 그게 몸으로 온건가 싶어요 ... 맴찢 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 그래도 이제 엄마한테 어리광도 부리고 ㅠㅠ 넘 감동이네요 이제 꽃길만 걸어라 천사 다롱이 ❤️❤️❤️
