Sorry, i don't mean to put on a negative to this cute vid but seeing how they took care of the camel makes my heart heavy with the situation in Australia. I read an article that says 10k camels are plan to be put down (killed) because they drink too much water and that they are one of the causes of global warming. With the bushfire still going on,, people and animals living there are becoming short in water which they badly needed. Since camel has high water consumptions they have come up with this plan. It may be understandable with their (Australia) situation but i do hope it's not true because that would be too sad and heartbreaking.. let's pray for the people and animals in Australia 🙏🙏🙏

You would kind of think that the zoo know the camels are the 'ships of the desert' would have provided them with sand to rest on before this. I loved the dog resting on the chair behind the vet as he uses the computer. so sweet.

The concrete floor not suitable for those camels. Camels live in dessert or earth ground areas. Poor camels, must be hard for them. They should have taken into consideration when keeping those animals. Find out their habitats. Especially those species that are not from country of origin.

In fact, you can see concrete floor in most of animal shelters. It's made only for human's convienience to maintain it easily, not for animal welfare.
Sigh~
