Imo this fight really showcased how much has changed since Spiderman 2 in the Tobey trilogy. We don't see this nano tech later on in the movie and I really appreciated the showcase of old vs new in this fight

Maybe because Toby's Spidey was actually fully intending on fighting and knew who he was fighting. Whereas Tom's was simply trying to escape and save that lady and he only just met this new enemy.

@@mono9702Fr though the CGI has gotten pretty bad, which I can almost forgive if the writing wasn’t shit too. I’m a huge nerd for superhero comics and movies, but I just cannot watch these new marvel movies. They’re either mid or garbage. NWH may have been purely fanservice but they still wrote a great story for it and the CGI is top notch. Can’t say the same for most new marvel movies. Don’t even get me started on She Hulk. It has to be one of the worst shows I’ve ever suffered through watching.

I guess another Dock Ock ability is to never lose consciousness. Which is why he cannot stay chill or relax.
So if you want to beat him you should just chop his head off.

It's a matter of whether he was holding back or not. Obviously he's not trying to punch his head off so he's not hitting with his full force. It's probably also why he doesn't get gassed mid fight. Holding back means you can conserve more energy.
