I’d love to see a tutorial on doing makeup, especially foundation, with someone with textured and pigmented skin (pitted acne scars and melasma/rosacea). I feel like makeup artists don’t talk enough about that. How can we get that glow without drawing attention to our imperfections?. I feel like you will be the best person to do a tutorial since you’ve worked on so many faces! Love your work and your positive energy ❤️
I second this! We can't all look like JLo, but a few tricks to get us our closest would be bomb.

There isn't enough money in our age group or skin problems for makeup artists to care about helping us. Scott is there to make a cosmetic company that caters to the widest audience and it is NOT us, at all. We have to learn on our own, or somehow create a group that will attract folks that can help us. I think Nikkieturorials is pretty good. Check out some of her videos. She deals with redness. Don't get me wrong, Scott is an extremely caring individual. But, he has to make money with his products. I am sure that he has investors that he answers to and has goals to meet. I know he does. He's built a studio and it all takes moo-la. Scott is a high-end beauty cosmetics company. There are companies out there that do cater to people that have birthmarks and other facial flaws. Dermablend is one of them. I applaud Scott and what he is currently doing. If I have to cover my other skin problems, I think I would go to DermaBlend.
My favorite part was the bit about creating Body Bling in the blender that Scott mixes his protein shakes in. I love the irony how he is a jacked up ripped up muscle man that...paints pretty faces with gorgeous makeup. I could listen to these stories all day! 💙😉

I can’t believe you didn’t mention your fine arts background. It’s your technique, your creative process, bending the rules and creating your own that always delivers your best work. Similar to how Da Vinci worked in layers to show his definition of subtlety, you do the same for us. I miss the Herb Ritts and Oribe era of it all and I’m glad we still have talented people like yourself with us today. Go and make your makeup line the best legacy for generations to come! Fantastic video Scott! Loved seeing story encapsulated from beginning to present day (not “to the end”). I kid you not, I was so sick of watching every bad thing on the news that I needed a lift...I literally just watched “Maid in Manhattan” and hour ago.
