I am a Korean. I'm worried if you can understand this comment correctly because my English is not good.
Japan colonized Korea from 1910 to 1945. During that time, Japan bullied countless Korean people and tried to destroy Korean culture.
In 1945, Korea gained independence, but Koreans' hearts were filled with hatred for Japan. Since then, many dramas, movies, and novels in Korea have often revealed such anti-Japanese feelings. (Similar to Jews criticizing the Nazis with movies and dramas.)
In particular, North Korea, which has a strong nationalistic nature, hates Japan more than South Korea. Tokyo seems to have said that line because she is a North Korean.
That scene has become quite a hot topic in Korea, too. 'It's a line that criticizes Japan too directly. The director's political tendencies are revealed, preventing him from concentrating on watching dramas.' Some say, 'It is a scene that can be understood if you think of it as a line made by a North Korean. It's a scene with no problems.' There is also an opinion that

It was occupation because Korean forces took control of swathes of Northern Korea and Manchuria in the 1920s up until the Korean offensives to liberate Korea in the 1940s. By the 1920s, the fledgling Korean Republic was at war with Japan and officially declared war on Japan in the 1940s. Its a little known fact about Korea durjng WW2. The Allies had a lot to thanm them for because by the time WW2 started, Korean offensives, assassinations, and bombings severely damaged the Japanese officer corps and not to mention, Korean moles all over the Japan3se army feeding intelligence to Korean and Allied forces. Koreans also fought the Japanese in Burma. Nonetheless, it was a bloody struggle. Hence, the animosity that lingers to this day especially when the Korean military and military industry now is far beyond and above the Japanese in the modern day.

the first half for me was very slow but the second half flew by really fast for me. tbh it doesn’t have me on the edge of my seat like the original probably because i know what’s gonna happen & it’s pretty much the exact same as the original BUT they do change it up a bit & some characters are more likable in this version

I apologize in advance because I don't speak English and I'm using Google translate.
It's my idea, but when Denver asks why she chose Tokyo and she replies, "because we're going to do bad things" or something like that, I think it's referring to the time when Japan occupied Korea, so "we're going to do bad things like Japan. made in Korea ". But that's my opinion.
Remember that pornography in Korea is illegal, so you can't access sites like pornhub unless you use a VPN. So the director got a porn video sent by some of his contacts. Then I don't know how wise it is to open them in your workplace, but that's another matter.
