Why is Rare so against adding whales to the game if they're "celebrating" boar hunting this much? Why is one in good taste and the other isn't?
We eat pork but we don't eat whales, at least in Europe. I guess that's one of the reasons why whaling is not implemented in the game. I wish we had whales, dolphins, jellyfish, sea turtles or seals in the game. Not to be hunted though, just passive mobs, random and sometimes rare encounters that could even maybe give a buff to the player. I don't know it feels like the diversity of the ocean is underexploited in this game

Imagine if they added whales, and if you hurt it, it would become aggressive and attack your ship. That way, it could potentially discourage players from attacking for no reason

@@ezioauditore8580 It's historically accurate that humans did whale hunt at the time. Even Skull and bones have balls to do that.
I think you could add an ice area with ice chest, ice skeletons that when they attack you are slowed down and ice cannonballs and ice chains that if the cannonball hits the boat the boat is slowed down and the chain of ice knocks down the pole but pieces of ice will appear so you need to break the piece of ice to then lift the pole and the ice skeletons can blows and this makes you slow and if it blows too much you freeze so you have to break the ice to get out, and the ice chests, if you find one you can pick it up but it will slow you down and if you put it on your boat the boat will slow down and you can add a pickaxe to break the ice and It is also an ice curse and ice cosmetics such as swords, pistols, clothes all made of ice and also ice bombs.
Buff rewards in pve and release all trading companies plus emissary flags too.
Trolling us with Boar Hunter outfits when you just said in the podcast that Hunter's Call updates won't come any time in the next year, is just.. painful lol. It looks cool though!

Nice so when's the actual gameplay update happening, you guys just use the same events and make there be better loot. Then you just get rid of the adventure by adding fast travels to servers who have had players who aren't capable of pvp sitting their doing the event you want to steal, then you say " oh well for you players who suck at pvp, here's safer seas where you cant earn any reputation for your guild, earn half the money, and half the reputation for normal trading companies. Then instead of giving players a real update to enter a new season you let them get a whole new reset of a quest table no one uses and raise the emissary levels to 500 and the only reward you get for it to show off other players when the haven't double gunned you (claimed to slow double gunning) is a tiny ring you hardly get to see on your fingers that isn't available for Shelly curse.
S12and onwards will have much more features added

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this bug yet, but for some reason, when me and my friend played just a few hours ago, we got lucky and got the Red fleet twice in a row in the same server, but when we sold everything, we didn't get any of the money from it for a good 5 or so minutes. I don't know how to do bug reports for this game so I'm posting it here.
My current theory is that it's simply just because the season just came out and players are really enjoying the diving mechanic, but has the unforeseen side effect of making the money be delayed after selling because of all the server hops. I could be wrong since we discovered it whilst on a brig and our other friend had no issues at all, or it could've been a one off, but it's something I'd say is worth looking into if anyone else has this issue.
They dont fix it they just pave it over
It's just heavy server load because a new season dropped with a significant update.

Дорогие разработчики я очень надеюсь что вы хотя-бы увидите это. У меня есть крутая идея для обновления можно добавить китов и новый корабль китобой который будет как бригантина но с 2 пушками и 2 местами для лодок также чтобы убить кита нужно будет в него кидать новое оружие гарпун, кит может атаковать корабль нанося 2 пробоены за удар, при убийстве кита с него может выпасть новый предмет бочки с китовым жиром которые будут жёлтого цвета их можно продовать, также можно для них добавить функцию как у пороховых бочек, но они не делали пробоены а поджигали вблизи местность после взрыва. Разработчики пожалуйста прочитайте!!!

The new voyage system is garbage. It’s like a move backwards. The old system gave you multiple maps for one purchase. And those included buried treasures more than 6-7 chest in a single island. And if you weren’t satisfied with the islands you could cancel and put down another voyage. But in season 11 this is completely gone! You either have 2 chest island or 3 chest island. And they are always the same damn islands.. also no captains chest or cursed chest, legendary chest is no longer can be dig out just one type of chest. It’s ridiculous. This update is a 1/10
What do you mean all the loot has been improved for islands you now get a higher chance of getting higher amounts of loot from the start and cursed chests are almost guaranteed to be at least one you also get multiple types of chest from one island
