This gives me chills every time I watch it. Ateez is just on another level. They’re way more than just a K-pop group. Their story telling through their lyrics, vocals, choreography and acting are unmatched.
Just an observation about theys storyline and their actual lives
- Yunho has just a young brother, his plot is totally fictional
- Yeosang's father now approves and support his career, but is true that they didn't before, Yeosang's parents dreams was that his Son became a law student
- Jongho actually was an athlete, his family is also full athletic, his mom, father and little brother are athletes.
- San actually didn't move home, but he already mentioned that he was raised basically by his grandparents cuz his parents was busy with their jobs.
- Wooyoung stage fright get better after his change to kq, in Bighit he was competitive but he was afraid and anxious in every test.
- Hongjoong's plot is better in the diary version album book cuz some parts of how he feel about his trainee process is there.
- Seonghwa also has experienced a deep slump in his trainee days and debut, afraid about his talents, visuals and future... His plot also has a lot in common with his life.
About Seonghwa one, i would like to say it basically says to set yourself free from the boundaries you have created for yourself. Stop being harsh on yourself. And it makes a lot of sense considering he's self-conscious and not confident about himself in the past.
And Mingi's one felt like music is his escape mechanism from the real world, which could be true. He can be seen enjoying music alone to himself in many early Ateez contents.
This is one of the main reasons Ateez is my ult group, just how much they put into their music, their storytelling if you will, is way beyond just their beautiful/meaningful lyrics. They are beyond next level with all that they do to get it all across, like this diary film, the m/v teasers and prologue, their choreography, the emotions that they show with their facial expressions when they perform, and even their outfits. I'm always blown away by the way their minds work and also how they promote each comeback. So glad I got into Kpop, cause they (they as in groups/idols) take storytelling and music to a whole new level, imo. And im so happy I discovered Ateez because they really are helping me through a really hard time right now and making my days a little easier and brighter.

I was looking at your chat during Jongho's part and im not sure if anyone mentioned it to you that Jongho actually broke his leg right before the start of their EU tour back in 2020 -- It was right before the lockdowns. Few months later, they released the Fever Series.

Their storyline is very deep
I would recommend you watch fever road next, even though it's a variety show they've placed conclusions to these stories and an explanation of the hourglass/chromer in it
Some of these stories related to their personal lives. That's break my heart
I still remembered i cried so hard when i first watch this diary film. I can relate so much.
I wish they had done more of these, but they always give us such good things at the beginning and ends of their videos, and the more you watch the videos, having seen what comes later, the more you realize how connected things are, and how deep the lore really is. Like there's a flash of HalATEEZ in Illusion, along with a mask, and it's such a fleeting view that you might not see it on first (or eighth!) watch, but then someone points it out and you're like, "ooohhhh" and that's kinda how this entire video is. They also have written diary entries with many of the physical albums (the contents are available to read online if you don't own/buy) that really explain the individual storylines as seen by the members and what's happening. LoreTINY stay fed, lemme tell ya!
Best to start watching fever road variety show as it gives you more at the end off each episode
I’m so happy you watched this. It’s been a while since I saw it last time and it just gave me chills. All the different connections to their real selfs just makes it more emotional
