Don't know why people look at a separation the same as a divorce....its not. You still married which mean you're cheating on your spouse. This is one of the reasons marriage scares me. It's not taken seriously at all.
The way I look at it. Separated means you're no longer interested in being with each other but you're still legally together. At the end of the day, marriage, while considered a higher form of commitment, is just a piece of paper. You can be in love with someone and spend the rest of your lives together without being married.
