I just love how chill vernon is, like...He's just there living his life positively and there's not even nothing "dramatic" about him to even be shown in the documentary...he's the person he is on and off stage, nothing to hide (even though many people perceive him as a mysterious person)

I think he's just secretive in a way that he's not used to talking about his emotions and what he's feeling (maybe everything that happened in the past affected him or he's just like that), soo people misunderstand that as mysterious. I truly believe if someone of his close ones ask him some specific question about his feelings, he would share that with them

@@vosreinesz In my interpretation, the rocky wave symbolizes a person's life crisis. You can just feel the emotions because you are a human after all, you can just go with the flow and see how things in your life will unfold. When you feel the breeze, meaning when you let things unfold for you and held on, you will not notice that you are already at the peaceful side of the sea. You will just wake up and notice that you are not feeling the heaviness or emptiness in your life anymore.

We always associate vernon of being chill and calm all the time but aside from that, he's always working hard improving his self as an artist and as a person. I like it when Vernon said It's Important to have consistency in life. Yeah, that's should be that should be the mindset that young professionals or even students need to have today. In order to not lose our sight to the path, we are taking. A consistent mindset is a MUST. For reality has a funny way of slapping YOU. When you are young you used to think of just working hard yet slacking off in your studies thinking that you'd do better next time but in reality, it's really hard when you don't Invest in yourself consistently. When you fail it doesn't mean you are a FAILURE but when you don't change and Improve consistently then you won't grow and you'd be having a hard time coping with the changes of time.
This is probably one of my favorite episodes among the others. I find Vernon very Interesting yet the most unpredictable type tbh. And I think he also contributed a lot as to why all of their music is full of diverse, dynamic and fucking Innovative. #Trendysetters
He's the most person that I can say expressive, open-minded and outspoken yet too MYSTERIOUS. I remember when Jeonghan said it's hard for him to read Vernon's mind and actions. I agree. Because I think he can cope up with situations easily at the same Vernon has really a strong mentality (that I wish I could have as well) From his experience of getting bullied over and over again coming from those people who thought of him as someone who wants popularity or didn't believe in him. Well, Investment and growths speak well in society. And I can say he has grown a lot better, tougher and wiser. He's lyrics connect with him along with his realizations in the walk that he took until now. I wish to see him succeed even more as a lyricist, composer, and producer next to Woozi. Thanks, Vernon! I agree, literally I was preparing myself to cry my eyes out but he doesn't like to show his emotions (I guess because of everything that literally crashed on him in past) and I can understand that. I'm happy that he opens up at least a little
@DiscoOtter 7456 he was bullied a lot because he's half white to the point that he created a video where he begged people to leave him and his mixed friends alone and later he needed to drop out and be homeschooled. Also they bullied him in SMTM and criticized him so I guess all of that affected him and affected his character
Asja Burgic oh for the homeschooled part I thought it was because the trainee life was a tiring and going back and forth from school to the training room was difficult. Was it due to the bullying as well?
@@ruienchua2637 I'm not 100% sure either but considering that Chan is younger and went to school (I think) and rest of them were trainees while they were going to school, I think that bullying also impacted on him being homeschooled but probably trainee days also

Vernon is my overall bias. He is talented, hardworking, handsome, and you can also learn from him too. In Seventeen's 4th Gen Carat Kit "Welcome, Carat" Book they all wrote graphs of their lives. Vernon's graph stood out the most because he just drew the water cycle and he meant that life is just like the water cycle and he is going with the flow and is consistent. I look up to Vernon a lot, I guess I can say he is a very big inspiration to me.

Someday I will watch this again, without having panic attacks, without feeling alot more wistful and having to handle the tears because you don't want anyone to know you're sad. Vernon has brought a huge impact in my life growing up. Vernon’s lyrics in “lizzie velasquez“ was one of my favorites until know. through those words helped me understand him more and more.
He helped me soo much in Finding myself to fit in especially in this judgemental society. One of the reason why I really love this boy is seeing his growth on how he took all of those criticism he got (in which i don’t understand why?) and turned them into opportunities that helped him improve so mucch ...ㅠㅠ and i promised myself that I’’m gonna protect this man and love him every now and then.

I really love how Vernon doesn't try to be someone on cam who he isn't. He is a very simple person who just likes to do things he love. He is actually expressive but he never exaggerates anything. If he finds something funny he laughs, if it's something he never tries to make it seem as if it isn't and I think this is something really rare in idols. When he entered the cassette shop his eyes were filled with happiness and it really showed how much he loves music. I think as a rapper and musician he is underrated. He really understands music and feels it and I hope we appreciate him more for this. Vernon-ah please live your life to the fullest like how you do and I hope if you ever feel stress or negativity you always remember to show it.

To be honest, I'm going through one of the lowest peak in my life currently. Things are getting harder because I often felt that I'm always one step behind others. Unlike the people around me, I have more things lacking. I talked to my friends about wanting to walk on a faster pace and fix myself to be a better person. Ironically, this video came up. Vernon talks about whether it's okay to walk on his own pace in terms of expressing himself because he has a way to show affections to others, even if they couldn't understand his way. When he speaks about the pace, I felt really- I'm not sure, like in a relief that someone who's been inspiring me all this time was once in my position. It's like a type of healing through understandment.. I think that's all for now. To anyone who's reading my rants, thank you.

One thing I've always loved about Vernon is how chill and relaxed is facing thing in life. Him and Mingyu, at least from the docu, seems to be the ones with such an optimistic view on life, living the world with chill and swag. I also love how he sometimes doesn't feel like he needs to explicitly express things (also...his face's expressions say it all ahahah) and that you don't really always have to talk about anything to be extrovert or to not having problems. Sometimes not sharing feelings or words is healthy too, and it works from person to person.
He also gives this nostalgic feeling, love for simple and vintage things that makes me so calm. He seems to be (and all the members say he is) a very thoughtful person, and also someone humble and chill that listen a lot to people and takes the best from them.
And finally...I think, like he said, he is very unique, because he manages to seems not a really expressive person with the most big and magnificent face's expressions I've ever seen ahah

Vernon seems like such a wise person
Wow, I cried and smiled at the same time when I saw this episode. Vernon is the person who made me know Seventeen. When I first saw him, there was something that made him look very interesting in my eyes. He seems to really enjoy what he is doing and looks very positive. Until the end, I was worried because he was too 'positive'. He never showed thoughts, feelings and even sadness. As if he sounded his sadness tightly. It makes me very worried and always wonders when Vernon will open to us.
Until finally, this episode answers everything. It struck me that it was true what Vernon said "Everyone has their own way of showing their feelings." And neither did Vernon. The way Vernon shows all the things he feels is through the lyrics he made. And he also said that it's okay to go your own way without thinking about whether people understand or not. Really, this made my mind open that Vernon really enjoyed his life and always thought of positive things at every opportunity. I am very proud of him, he looks much more mature and wise. Vernon himself said that he was a unique person, that is the reason why people who don't know him well will find it difficult to understand him.
Thank you Vernon, for the umpteenth time you have made me fall deeper into you and all your charms. I hope you enjoy your life happily in your own way. Remember that we, including me, will always be by your side and ready to listen to you whenever you want to be heard.
I feel exactly the same, he is my bias more because his whole aura, existence, calms me down, like a friend. I admire all svt members, they affect me differently, and for Vernon, he heals my worries for a bit.
I love how chill is Vernon, is hard to be like that... he has hard moments too, but he fits so well in the team, that you can see how comfortable and bright he is... even in those times.

I feel like this episode was less about Vernon than other episodes have been about their respective member
same thoughts there, while it's great for us to know that he cares for the members but since this is titled a documentary for each member, it's really lacking because the only part about Vernon was the last part where he is working on his music and since he speaks really less, i was super excited to want to know what Vernon is actually thinking.

A lot of ppl were joking last episode how everyone was in some sort of pain while Vernon was just vibin at the end. As much I love that joke, I personally think it wasn’t the right time to say it. Hansol seems like a carefree and happy person but he has many more struggles than we can imagine😩💘
