It's been a while, but welcome back Jun & The8! You guys are busy right away, as expected. Watching SEVENTEEN's performances always gets me think, "Ooh this is why I'm a Carat!"
Here’s the thing. The last quarter of 2021 had brought a lot of new Carats to the fandom. It was also the time when JunHao went to China to continue their previous projects. So for 5 whole months, new Carats waited patiently, relying on previous contents where Seventeen performed together. So when GDA came along in January 3, a lot of us were excited. Watching Seventeen perform together for the first time in a while as someone who waited so long, God it was beautiful. Like a missing piece we never knew was missing was suddenly found. It’s an emotion I can’t really explain. It’s feeling relieved, contented, & happy yet it’s a feeling that makes one greedy for more, to stay longer and experience more of SVT’s performances in the coming days and years.

I swear i thought Jun went to China to practice acting again but why 2:50🤤 did he even get damn better at dancing?! his footwork on this part is way too above from the rest of the gang.. I mean he's already excellent and graceful and flawlessly doing his parts but this is another massive PANG! from him! ah...as expected. That's Wen Junhui🤩
we all already know this but they truly have such an easygoing atmosphere when interacting with each other that is only possible when you have a certain degree of familiarity. in their case it extends to the likes of family. hoshi asking the question of what their first ot13 performance means to the members and immediately breaking out into a laugh when dino answers predictably (with dripping sentimentality) as his older brothers look on him with fondness. joshua picking up on the question and answering with the same sentimental fervor and instantly teasing mingyu and rattling to scoups all in the same moment. seungkwan and dino's friendship hinged on a comforting humor always present in their playful banter which always ends in dino pointing to him in mixed awe and disbelief at how insufferable seungkwan is (always in a funny way meant to tease him). minghao saying hoshi will never let them hear the end of it if they get the dance wrong and hoshi laughing loudly at the accuracy, dropped back instantly in their old routine as the time and distance they spent without each other just melts away. sorry for the long comment haha but this video was released the day after carats found out they renewed their contract for five more years and everyone's emotional about it, as am i. they talk about it quite freely and always with importance because it's such a heavy choice. seemingly obvious and easy but never insignificant. i'm glad i somehow get to see these small moments that exist between them and be one of the people they wish to show these for. their music and familial love for each other will always be special to me. i love you seventeen, i'm glad we all exist!!

they're so cute and the fact that we'll get seventeen for 5 more years definitely, i love them so much. i know that in the long run, minghao and jun weren't gone for _that_ long, but it sure felt like it and i can see everyone missed each other even when seventeen could just call each other and carats were still getting prefilmed ot13 content. it feels nice to have them as 13 again, and i can't wait for their next comeback which may be a little while from now since the members are resting a little. while on the topic of resting, i'm really hoping for in the soop season 2 for seventeen. they said after the first one that they hope they can do this every year, just taking a one week break with the members in the forest before going back to their busy lives.

they're so cute and the fact that we'll get seventeen for 5 more years definitely, i love them so much. i know that in the long run, minghao and jun weren't gone for _that_ long, but it sure felt like it and i can see everyone missed each other even when seventeen could just call each other and carats were still getting prefilmed ot13 content. it feels nice to have them as 13 again, and i can't wait for their next comeback which may be a little while from now since the members are resting a little. while on the topic of resting, i'm really hoping for in the soop season 2 for seventeen. they said after the first one that they hope they can do this every year, just taking a one week break with the members in the forest before going back to their busy lives.
It just warms my heart to see how the members really missed JunHao and were as excited (as we are) to perform with them together onstage.
