  • So you got the interview… but now what?
How do you impress enough to actually get the job?
Performing well in your interview is ESSENTIAL if you want to be considered for the role.
The BIGGEST mistake people make when it comes to interviews is that they focus too much on themselves… but in an interview it’s not really about you, it’s about what the company you’re interviewing for WANTS IN YOU.
In this short video, I share three things to remember when it comes to the interview, to make sure you impress the interviewing panel enough to get the job.
    1. Stand out from others by preparing specific examples that highlight your strengths and achievements.
    2. Ask insightful questions to keep the interview flowing and make it seem more organic.
    3. Interview them. Have some questions up your sleeve that you can ask, about the culture, challenges or anything else important to you.
What’s your favourite interview tip? Share it with me in the comments!
And good luck with your next interview!

I take hundreds of interviews every year to select for so many positions in our company. We in our panel dont like it when someone starts interviewing our company during the conversation,, we give separate time to every candidate after our questions are over, asking, ' our questions are over you can ask anything if you want to'. And then actual interview starts. Because results are more depended on questions they ask, It gives us clear idea the actual mental state and priorities in a candidate's mind. Ofcourse their answers play an important role in the judgement but questions they ask gives us what are they looking for in our company. Academic capabilities plays very nominal role in the result of an interview. So my advice is wait for right moment to ask questions.

Yeah, I have experienced that. The interview almost ends badly for the applicant if the interviewer themselves have to ask, "Do you have any questions?".
Then if the interviewee says, "No." That's almost like the final nail in the coffin.
Then the interviewer usually say, "We will let you know if you are selected." That's what an interviewer usually says here in India, if you are rejected or if they are not yet sure about you.

Also the interviewer may think that you are not curious about the company also.
So, you should just ask some questions pertaining to the actual work you will do in the company, like say, if you are a programmer or web developer, ask what and what kind of projects are going on in the company. Ask, how many teams are there working on any given project, and how many employees per team?
