I’m so greatful that shawn wrote this and that he’s so open about his mental health journey. I’m laying here fighting bad anxiety and having bad panic attacks that seem to keep coming and I can’t seem to control them. During a slightly calmer moment, I realized I was saying “help me” out loud then this song came into my head and now I feel calmer and my anxiety went away. I’m so happy because this song explains how I feel more than I can seem to and I feel like I’m less alone or “crazy” like I know I’m not crazy for being anxious but the way people react to me makes me feel like I am sometimes. I remember feeling just as he describes in this song a few years ago and I thank God I’m not there anymore. Overcoming depression/ anxiety and panic attacks was very difficult. I thought I was losing my mind. The experience was awful but I was able to find the strength to get through. Giving up was not an option. Prayer to all who are suffering. Hang in there and seek help.
