"If you want a professional career in the arts and you're from an area like this, there ARE hurdles, and you are gonna have to work harder than everyone else" combined with a shot of him literally flailing and getting boosted up and over a ledge by his brothers is a funny bit of editing but also sends a very sweet message about the success they've found together
Only the McElroys could go from getting high on edibles to being in Trolls 2
IDK, I feel like drugs influenced a lot of that film.
@@doorstepcult2407 my fiancee and I were stoned out of our gourd and watched Trolls World Tour and it was a journey for sure
Wow! Surprised he could keep up playing that guitar the whole time as he did the interview. Truly an inspiration.
One handed too ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
I can't count the amount of times that Justin's trademark laugh helped me through a tough time.
The research and editing on this was really top notch. They actually found photos and clips from the appropriate eras of their history.
The clip where heโs talking about overcoming hurdles and working harder to get where heโs at while theyโre showing footage of him being hoisted atop that wall is *Chefโs kiss* ๐ ๐
Oh Justin, those family photos at 1:53 are *chef's kiss*. You SPOIL us!
He seems like such a swell dude. They all do really.
As much as I love TAZ being from the tri- state area I have even more respect for Justin bc he chooses to stay home ๐ก
I love him!! This is so sweet and heโs so honest and real about his life.
This was beautifully edited and fun to watch. The McElroy brothers are such inspiring people, which sounds corny but it's true. I'm also from a rural area so this video really means a lot to me. Thank you for creating and posting it!
I'm 26. I've been watching KRplus since it was created. This is the only video I have ever seen without a single dislike. Pure. Good.
I love this! Im a huge mcelroy fan, and wv native who recently moved away to go to Art School, but i love and miss this state. Im so excited to see more of these
This made me so happy ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ
Honestly itโs really really cool to see him talk seriously about his work and how he got to where he is, itโs inspiring it really is.
One of my vacation dreams is to come to Huntington for Candlenights and sight see all the places from the TV show ๐งก
(And stop at Point Pleasant for Mothman of course)
An ode to small town arts. I love it
i went from having no opinion on wv to joking with the friend that told me about y'all about "making the pilgrimage" to huntington for candlenights, just because of y'all
My partnerโs brother was supposed to do a summer at Marshall University (didnโt happen, boo COVID), and I was like AHH CAN WE VISIT HIM???
I really want to see Justin react to this.
Gotta love Justin. My favourite guy!!!
i can't believe I just now found this. It was so sweet and very well done. I had to subscribe.
โคโคโค
I could never have the amount of pride for my home town in AK that these guys have for their home town. maybe they see the best in it even despite it's problems. it's kinda inspirational.
My dad grew up in Ashland, KY, which is basically on the border of KY and WV. His favorite pizza place, Everoniโs (probably spelled that wrong) is in WV, and we go there when we visit our grandparents. Itโs a few towns over from Huntington, and itโs crazy to me that my dad was growing up just a short drive away from these boys. Heโs about Travโs age, and I canโt wrap my head around the fact that, if my dad had lived just a town or two over, he may have me the fucking McElroys. I really hope they get to do Candlenights this year bc my mom said she would take me!!
Justinโs hair looks really good here
I swear to god if anyone thumbs down this....
Thanks for the video! It was very interesting to hear Justin talk about his history.
๐ฅบ๐ฅบ love my homegrown mcelboys
Definitely glad he showed off the baseball ๐!๐๐๐
Such a good guy
Heโs a real good guy
Dad!
What a great video!
Love you Hoops!
What was the animated show they were working on for NBC?
They're in the process lf making an animated version of The Adventure Zone. Its isn't out yet, and was on hiatus for a while due to covid, but is still in production!
