It is always and always has been easier for american boxers to get hyped even when they are mediocre or average OR good but not as good as the hype itself...
I understand it from an american point of view as the United States is the mecca of boxing and always has been in eras they were dominating but... nowadays there are plenty of foreigners who really KNOWS what struggle is ! It is harder for certain nationalities to get recognition and it is more than unfair.
Sincerely i feel like boxers such as Teixeira, Souleymane Cissokho, Brian Castaño as well as Michel Soro should get more publicity but whenever people speak about Super-Welters they NEVER even mention those guys. Michel Soro is on a solid win streak and is way aboie average but struggle to have Lara fight even though he is his mandatory for a year now plus he knocked out lara laqt opponent inside 2 rounds whereas the cuban went 12 with a C level fighters.
Brian castaño should have had the win against Lara but was robbed, and before that he had wins against DEREVYANCHENKO, Cedric vitu a 4 times euro champ and a legit top 5 in Soro 3 years ago in their backyards being the CHAMP..!
Charlo brothers are good but not as tv wants you to believe, Rosario and Derevyanchenko are their first real test in more than 30 fights !....

I’m sorry but unless jermall really shows up fight night. He won’t beat sergey . He was getting whooped on by a good veteran korobov who only had 6 days to prepare for that fight .
And while that's happening you have Canelo trying to take your fight money trying to get a big fight with his sparring partners.
That's not true, Jermall won 8-4 i've watched that fight 7 times and Korobov was already in training camp because he was supposed to be on the undercard. All they did was make him Charlo's opponent. Stop spreading misinformation.

Spence admitted he was a victim of his "own success" and started taking things for granted and his accident was a wake-up call for him to refocus. IMO, I don't see the "shame" I look at it as a "blessing in disguise" because a lot of young people become victims of their own success and "never" get a second chance.
