CHARLO is a very emotional fighter
It was definitely a knock down. It was just a wild hook to the top of the temple and on Rosario’s way down he got hit. Them punches just be super wild sometimes. 😂

What a gallant victory!!! Didn't complain about the low blows, didn't get flustered and upset. His punching was accurate and vicious, especially the power jab to the former champs liver and lungs!

Exhilarating victory by Jermell “Ironman” Charlo one of the most unique knockouts in combat sports in recent years. Rosario actually fought quite well which will be overlooked due to the dramatic stoppage loss. Rosario exhibited an excellent jab. His jab was consistent, beautiful Techinal form, and precise. His best work was done to the body of the 2x champion. The body work was consistent and intelligent. His footwork was also impressive. It was calculated and efficient. That footwork coupled with his jab is why he was able to produce an exciting and competitive matchup until it’s last stanza. Jermell displayed a vast improvement in his patience. Whereas in his last performance where he actively sought out the knockout hete he allowed the natural flow of the fight to take course and made critical decisions that eventually secured the victory of his Dominican rival. Although he secured a stellar victory Charlo has room for even more growth. At times he was wild with his punches and was a tad sloppy with his footwork but was able to get away with due to his high level athleticism and power. A greater commitment to his jab and less head hunting should be goals of the unified champion. An investment in expanding the target area would bring forth possibly even more devastating KOs for the fiery fighter who has become the flagship fighter in the 154lb division. The mental maturity and growth in terms of IQ will spell disastrous for all future foes as he begins to harness his passion and ambition to achieve his immediate goal of undisputed in his overall pursuit of boxing immortality

The only fight I can honestly say Jermell wasn’t aggressive or attacking as much as he normally does. He took his time with this fight and pace himself. Sometimes he can move too fast and swing very wild. But still a good fight. It was just boring because there was no audience.

I think it's because Rosario heading into this fight just got done with a demolition job on J Rock, he looked lethal in that fight so I think Charlo's team told him to box and fight smart. Paid off in the end

What people are not talking about is, the left hook to the temple that sent him back against the ropes, off balance, to where his foot could slip out of the ring in the first place.
Jeison rosario has si much heart that it’s his ultimate downfall in fights he brawls so much knowing he can take the punches but so many take a toll obviously especially against the heavy hitters at top Hopefully he can work in his defense a bit and stay strong at 160 and have some good fights the next 1-2 years and Jermell Charlo is just a Great fighter and very smart mixed with a Inside and outside game and obviously very heavy handed
