If anyone of his defensive teammates are even slightly too far behind him..they aren't catching him. It does take a team effort..but there is also individual skills that are hard to account for. We are all prejudice whether we like it or not, and it sucks. We judge a book by its cover. Seeing Jackson before the draft and hearing him speak, I thought he didn't sound intelligent and was incapable of being a leader. Maybe that's what other scouts thought. Watching him play, it's ironic that not only is he the best of his class, but he is the smartest, most efficient, and hardest working QB of the bunch. And to top it all off, beloved by his teammates. @@alphatrusbensiii8381 dude Lamar is never going to catch Mahomes as a passer. Think about it. Mahomes already throws the ball more, and has been throwing the ball more since college. They are still designing a bunch of runs for Lamar, so that takes away his reps and hurts his development as a passer. Mahomes has been getting more passing reps and will continue to get more passing reps while Lamar splits his time between running and throwing.

Mike Blick he don’t have to catch Mahomes as a passer ,
The point is let’s say both stay healthy
Lamar right now is 23 yr old and probably a B caliber thrower but an A+ caliber runner
Mahomes right now is 24 turning 25 tomorrow and is an A+ thrower but a C+ to B- runner
Based on the theory that legs starts to peak around 29 and arms start to peak around 35
Lamar’s athleticism will last him at least another 5-6 yrs , his arm will last another 12-13 yrs
Mahomes arm will probably last another 10 yrs and his legs will last him another 3-4 yrs

20 of 25 275yards 3TD’s but he means in terms on accuracy every Throw was on the money besides 3 throw aways one that got tipped should have been 22 of 25 and still don’t even play whole games no more it seem like he always leaves 3rd/4th QT’s

@@bodymore23 pretty accurate for the most part but that first TD to Andrews was not an accurate throw. Lamar looked like he was late to see him open, and then the pass was high and to the left and Andrews made a great catch on it.

Mike Blick it was in he target area that’s all that matters a lot of QB’s miss high or low and their guys have to make a good catch people only point out Lamar’s tho while every QB does it every game ain’t nobody 100% on target
