Easily the most beautiful River Wave we have seen all summer. Just icing on the cake to surf an incredible sand bar that formed from the breaching event.

We should probably get a decent number of people to report this for being misleading. See if we can get it demonetized or ideally removed from the platform. Start taking down clickbait one video at a time
I am surprised no one has ever rafted down a river wave.
Sometimes we hit it in tubes, its just scary cuz the current pulls you out really far

Is nobody gonna notice how the beach is literally collapsing?
Beaches are made out of tiny bits of erroded rock that we call sand and they form due to natural deposition, the sand moved by the new passage will eventually settle back on the beach again with time. The only reason it looks like its 'collapsing' is because of the new errosion caused by the new connection. Give it a bit of time to settle down and it will form a more "natural" connection like the ones you stereotypically would see.
its also pretty much impossible to collapse sonething already at sea level, hope that clears it up
@@josephalmendarez5801bro just gave me a whole lesson of a year in my school😂😂😂
Wave action brings it back. If they had done nothing this would have happened soon. They just chose to make it happen now.
But this also makes the coastline shrink and erode away and can be a problem in the future

Dear everyone: Rivers naturally erode anyway, that’s why rivers always lead back to the sea. They aren’t destroying nature, and I doubt any fish died, the change in concentration of the saltwater would have been so small it wouldn’t have mattered

People saying it's illegal clearly isn't watching the video properly and isn't doing some research before saying it's illegal
Why ? Isn't it destroying the eco system. Like river and ocean has different ecosystems.ur not supposed to do this right ?. It will be hard to seperate them back to normal again right?
@@Phani_2001it is not, this is happening because there is a lot of water piled up in the river, most likely a heavy rain just poured and filled up the river, and a breach will happen later on because of it, the reason why this isn't illegal is because this happens naturally in that area, and by naturally I mean without any interference or assistance by humans, and i'm pretty zure they're already given a green light before doing this, the only thing they are doing is breaching it in advanced, and yes it does destroy the ecosystem, but again, the point here is that that thing will happen naturally, even if left alone, it will slowly make it's way to the ocean, and overflow, until it gets that big, and the fact that they started with a small shovel like that, means that it was gonna happen way sooner, what they're doing is not illegal since it's something that happens naturally, unless it is not natural, and I mean like something that isn't supposed to happen, then only then it is illegal, since at this specific area it is natural, supposed to happen, or is common, what they are doing is just assissting, or quickening it's breach, so no it isn't illegal

RIP to those freshwater fish who ended up getting shot into the ocean by the sudden canal that was constructed
If a fish can’t swim against that current maybe it’s natural selection because the current is very weak until you’re near it

That looks hella fun
Looks like Alisso beach in laguna beach CA. This is not illegal, this happens on and off by itself whenever it get high in level. It literally terminates at the beach so if it gets higher it runs into the ocean
Super ❤
Mann, you call that a small child, that kid went through a lot....
Imagine being on like a raft or a tube way upstream on the creek when they connect it. Big ol flume ride. That'd prolly be pretty sick.
a little toy shovel, connects the river to the ocean
So normally then, is that river splitting the beach and going into the sea at that point? But because of a tide or storm or something, its become blocked and caused a type of dam and a build up of water? Or are you altering the normal course of the water? Becaue now im seeing a beach with a 2m deep gorge in it.
The water was going to overflow.
River breaks happen as they fill. Assisted or not. As the tide and waves keep flowing after a the break is done, it rebuilds the beach and sand bar/wall allowing the river to build up again.
Some systems can cycle every year, while others can be multiple years between breaks
Wasn’t going to watch, don’t know why this showed up on my UT, but you picked up trash so, to show my thanks and respect, I watched, thumb up , and subscribe!
Bro this is crazy
Where is this beach anyway

Hi
This honestly looks fun to do but I would have to find a suitable pond to do this with that works or isn't gonna be a major issue if i commit to it
Bro made the ocean grow 0.0052mm higher 💀
Wish the UK had stuff like this 😢
It would be sick. All we got are waves that break a mile from shore🤣I can’t find any good beaches for skimboarding in wales😢
Do you not have beaches or do you not have rivers 🤨
@@lilrae1458He have both but the waves are always tiny compared to these, only good for bodyboarding. We don't have any rivers that break over berms like this one though.

The term "haters" is woke jargon and marxist propaganda to censor any opposition and disagreement (Free Speech {2nd Amendment}).
Yeah what they really mean is "I feel like this is bad for nature and illegal based on absolutely no research or evidence"

What they fail to understand is that the sand is trucked in every year after a major winter storm to replenish the beach after it's been washed out to sea. This shenanigan was in September 2023.

Now all of the plants and animals that live passed that point of the river flow won't receive water from it as it is no longer part of the river.
All they really did was sped up a process
You good?
they just emptied out the part where the water was collected at. won't affect the rate of the water was flowing. Ice still melts at the same rate on the mountains.

River water naturally flows into the ocean, you’re basically swimming in river water mixed with salt water all the time.
@@Fan-atic. I realize this but at least it’s diluted. The ocean makes people sick sometimes after heavy rain due to the runoff.
