As long as he doesn't GET hurt, he should succeed. The Pats might take some time to get things rolling with him, especially since this is a late in the season signing and the whole COVID thing, but they will figure out how to use him.

That's kind of their point lol. No one is faulting the Pats for paying him so little, they had no cap space to work with. It's the fact that 31 other teams just watched him sign for the minimum, and they could have easily paid him more but didn't take the chance.
