I'm black and from Dayton. I know the UD culture very well. I've followed Gruden because of his Dayton ties and I'm not surprised at all that he makes racial tropes. He's said things years ago that made me think he has racial. issues.
Most Caucasians do it’s in their nature. But for it to be on record is another thing.

If he wasn’t employed by the NFL and didn’t represent the NFL at that time , then who does Gruden have to be accountable to?

Not to mention the fact that it’s something he has been noted as saying about multiple people of different races, but that would be objective thinking which Shannon is incapable of. Gruden should be fired for the job he's done with the Raiders. They were mediocre when they got there, haven't got any better and show no real signs of terrific improvements. They're performance in the draft recently is tragic.

Gruden doesn't come out and blatantly admit he did something ten years ago that was a mistake so he is a terrible person, and there is no way possible for him to change or move on as a person. Alright then Shannon. What's your confession from ten years ago? I know there's a mistake somewhere. What is it? I want a public apology for your mistake or you haven't changed and can't be forgiven, and thus should be immediately disciplined for what you did.

Young people understand this. Randy Moss himself was victimized by racism during his time growing up in West Virginia. Don't assume crying makes one weak.
