2011 Lockout was 8 months and they played 66 games
2020 Covid was 4 months
Those lockout seasons didn't have an asterisk so this year shouldn't either
Those situations are a bit different, this pandemic happened with like 20 games left in the season, and once they start playing again they'll be practically hopping right into the playoffs. A lot of players will be rusty in playoff games and players could also get sick and derail a teams chance.
With that said, I believe those other seasons should've had an asterisk as well.

It's still the season, they still playing games. There are still playoffs, everyone had the same covid-19 break. It's just a shortened season, everyone is playing the same amount of playoff games in the same arena with no fans. If you loose you loose, everyone got the same oppertunity to train, if you didn't it's your fault. it deserves the same respect as a regular finals.

I agree with you .Think about it, everybody got a chance to get healthy. So this year may be the most legit championship especially if none of the players will sit out.
It is certainly a very challenging season for the players. They prepared for a regular season, then the sudden indefinite postponement, then now to return and quickly get ready for the playoffs. To top it off, they'll be in a bubble, and even though the players will have everything they need, they won't have their complete freedom. Its tough. The winner certainly deserves the championship.

I remember when there was uncertainty that the season would continue Skip commended Doc Rivers for sounding enthusiastic and hopeful for the possibility of finishing the season and criticized Lebron for sounding resigned to the fact the season might be over.
