There are definitely players who are up on things and have a high level of intellect and can contribute to the cause. However, it's definitely necessary for them to include people who have dedicated their lives to the logistics, legality and methods to implementing sustainable change. It doesn't take anything away from the players and their role. But just like in sports, in order to build a championship team you have to be willing to be a star in your role. Every idea doesn't have to be yours.

What I am saying is... if the players decide not to play as a collective, that move will automatically hurt the team owners, sponsors etc on down the line... so that is dealt with. What is not dealt with, for example in Kyrie’s case is... the low level player has financial commitments (to family, and business) and will lose much more than say Kyrie (with a guaranteed contract, and shoe deal $). So if those type of players (the super start ones) feel the need to NOT play, then why not help out their brother that is less fortunate. Because it all boils down to helping others as the main goal. I don’t agree with sitting out, but I do think Chris Broussard was on point. It is a business first, get what you can while you have leverage, because one day that leverage can be removed.
