Not worried about the Rams' defense. So long as their winning record keeps them in good contention for the playoffs during the regular season, they can (and should) to keep some of their powder dry. The harder they play each game, the more likely they are to have injuries. They should only push as hard as they need to make the playoffs WITH MOST OF THEIR BEST PLAYERS INTACT. If staying healthy means playing some ugly games or losing a few, so be it. Stay healthy for the playoffs.
